[SC] Time to Take the Ammo Auto rebuy chip out of the game

One of the things i thought about is that since there is no ammo caps no more why do we need the Ammo rebuy chip.
We dont but auto players using bots do.
Take away this chip and its ability's to help bots auto rebuy ammo as they go about there botting ways.
No more self sustaining endless ammo for these people.

 

And do you think in this game actually someone still use x1???
Ppl bots with x2 x3 x4, and they have billions and billions......

 

They shoot billions too calculate it . I had millions of x-2 and x-3 going into the 3 major pirate quests.I drained that easy in there for that legitimate hunt alone.
Think about how much ammo a uber FE goli all lasers cracking 24\7 can use.
Even with a 8 hour a day botting cycle million plus easy would be used.

 

No offence but if you have 1 billion credits at least, you can buy ammo (x1, rockets) for many hours, so they would just need to remember to do that every "x" days. On the bright side, they may forget and throw away all their ammo until they will have realized it.

This is the biggest insult to newer players I have ever seen. Definitely a down vote from me.

 

This is completely useless honestly. If the chip would be removed the bot developers will implement a way to buy ammo automatically. It wouldn't conclude anything and it would just piss off normal players.

 

Someone doesnt bother to learn what the bots actually do. They pick up boxes. Whats in the boxes? Ammo and uri. They have huge quantities of this from using either gate spins doing pali or just getting boxes. If you ever have some of the special ones end up in TS they talk about having millions of whites hundreds of millions of x2 and x3.

As someone posted in another thread when they did the cheater ban wave. They had piles of log disks and were able to rebuild their bio quickly (he missed the point that the ban wave wasnt taken seriously by the players banned)

 

I think it’s you who doesn’t bother. The only bots that still box or pally are extremely new. Even the most basic fe can make more profit doing npcs.

 

See them all day. Know what you get when you spam hades gates all day sunday? What comes out of the ol spins when its not gate parts?

I would be surprised if bots used the auto buy cpu. Botters build and do gates, they have tons of ammo and if they run a pet it collects ammo from boxing. I played for 18hrs a day when I was off work for 8 weeks and the only thing I ran out of was sep. 10s of millions of x2 and x3 will last a very long time, millions of x4 will last a long time if you do some gates in between questing.

 

Yes I’m aware... you’re missing the point. Besides the nerf to bonus boxes, pve is just better. On the low end, obsidian farming + npc and boxes yields high uri. Same for x-6 or x-7. Box botting simply holds little merit now.

 

The ability to respawn on port in the same map is why there are so many bots in the maps, when we had to spawn at either uppers or lowers bases back then the bots had to travel all the way back to the map they was botting in, this allowed the bots to be intercepted on their travels and 99% of them would never make it back to the map or they would be stuck on base all day long. There was never any complaints from real players as that is just how the game was and I think it actually made it more fun having to make that travel again, feels like spawning at port was purely designed with botters in mind.

 

Yes, I use the auto ammo re-buy chip for the x1 ammo. Cannot afford uri for other ammo.
As for the caps... if they messed with resource caps like sep, they will prob go back to caps on all ammo as well; hopefully if they do it is more realistic than the resource caps.
I agree with respawn being on either x-8 or x-1 only, with no option to spawn anywhere else.

 

Maybe palladium for energy and free ammo??

With 1.000.000.000 credits you can buy 100.000.000 x1, so a botter/nub will never finish it in one day... maybe 1 month... So it is useless....

 

Ion - never finish what? I let it auto buy 10,000 x1 when it's limit is hit.
It sounds more like you do not have one, maybe never will buy one, but you do not like that anyone else makes use of it.
As far as palladium for energy, no, keep palladium as it is.

Then, maybe I expressed myself badly, I am indifferent to the fact of removing this CPU, as there is a way to do it. Buy a large amount given the paltry cost. In addition there is the special "menu" on the map where you can take them.
So one way to get around the system, unfortunately they always find it.
