[GI] Received a new ship during this recent event.

Received item: Ship - Disruptor

My question is: Has anyone on this forum tried this new ship? Will it be worth my time setting it up? Currently I cruz in my Cyborg, I find it to be a very good and well balanced ship in most cases.

Just looking for some input on this new ship.

no stats bonus = USELESS

Disruptor is too slow for chasing anything other than a Battle station (and they don't move). Even a Citadel will out run you with its ability.
Abilities could be useful, if it wasn't for the fact they have such short a duration as to be rendered all but useless.

As Cosmos said - No builtin stats bonus = Useless
Even with dual boosters HP and Shield leave a lot to be desired.
34 HP's in Moth suicide speed side with dual boosters - Speed 528 - HP 586K
14 LVL 16 shields 34 HP's Heart with dual boosters - Speed 360 - Shield 470K HP 586K

If it wasn't soooo slow it might be passable as a support ship but as it won't be able to keep up with any sort of mobile fighting group, you know, one that doesn't just sit in one place and wait to be overwhelmed by superior numbers - It stays in the hangar as a reminder on how BAD the DO Dev is at design balance.,.

Hahaha yes they have students of maybe one year or less experience it seems.

Thanks very much for the input on this new ship. As you said it will look just fine in the hanger with the rest of my collection.
