    Have an indestructible dummy to test laser damage at home base. It allows us to easily test builds rather than finding someone willing to take the shots. The numbers should also be easy to see, so either players can’t fly over the dummy or make the numbers pop out more over other ships.

    I kind of like that idea. Always find it hard to assess what kind of damage I'm doing when I'm actually playing. Simple but elegant.
