[UI] I would like to talk about a new formation!

  1. I do have an idea for a new formation! I do believe the idea will be useful for the DarkOrbit players and will be very pleasant! It will be a mix of Crab and Drill formation but it is going to have lesions with your decisions! My idea is to increase 20% damage to lasers likewise the drill formation and 35% sheild points and 7,5% Sheild absorption increasion! Furthermore, it reduces the movement speed around (50%-85%)!! It is going to be very difficult for the players to have the playstyle since to my mind, it is much harder to play with this formation than playing with DOME formation! The name of the formation will be Scorpion and will cost 150.000 Uridium to gain it! Reworks are acceptable and I can tell you you can have a < form on the left side with 3 drones, > form on the right side with 3 drones (totally 6) and the last 4 will form a L with 3 drones behind the ship and a drone right after the last one to form the L letter! I hope my views are taken underconsideration, thank you in advance. InsaneDarkHunter

    |+|20% Damage
    |-|65% Shield points
    |+|7.5% Absorption
    |-|50-80% speed

    Looks like a formation that will leave you a sitting duck to be popped instantly by moth or drill.
    Scorpions are defensive, yet piercing. I think it would be better if say...

    |-|5% Rocket reload speed
    |+|15% Damage
    |-|7% Shield Absorption
    |+|10% HP

    You have more HP, but it's easier to get to. Your rockets, especially with premium, are a barrage and your overall damage is increased.
    As for the shape... DO and the community prefer symmetric designs.

  3. Put a + on the shield points and then rethink it. Anyway this idea could be a good 75.000 Uridium formation but these formations are way too non-wanted because they cannot work well for a high-rated player! This formation can work well to Leonov and Zephyr but not on Cyborg, Hammerclaw And Citadel.. In my opinion, this formation I have recommended can be useful to Cubikons and Pirate NPC's. About the symmetric designs. take a look at Dome formation. It is so much irregular, the advantages are low 0,5% shield regeneration (50% lower regeneration than the Diamond) 25% rocket ,rocket launcher timing reduced and damage and speed 50% reduced. To my mind you can call it as NULL. It is not useful but yes, it's more expensive than the diamond 37.500 Uridium more expensive with discount and 50.000 Uridium without discount! take a look at the formations that are more tricky than you think! DarkOrbit needs too have a new playstyle, and believe me my ideas can make a new playstyle that can be cool for playing and learning to win!

    Adding 65% shield would make you unkillable in a citadel. You have to consider all formations with all ships. Some things are just too strong to put into the game.

    Ring gives you far more, and you are still down in 2-3 sec when fighting agains multiple enemies. (Also the original post said 35% more shield not 65%, you misstyped there) And the reduces speed would make it easy to escape from any citadel using that form.

    Of the 2 formations I find the first on more appealing, even though i would reduce the dmg increase to only 10%, ad more shield to it maybe 50% and put the speed to -35%:
    +10% Damage
    +50% Shield points
    +7.5% Absorption
    -35% speed

    The second form is kinda wierd.
    -7% Shield absorbtion makes you even more vounerable to any moth user (and moth is already strong af) so that the 10% HP are far to low, the dmg seems nice tho. rocket reload time is useless, most rockets do nothing anymore except PLD-8, SR-5, the freezing ones, the slowing ones and UBR (for rocketlauncher) because they lack DMG output.

    Ring may give more shield, but it also strongly reduces all damage output. This added to Citadel, which is already weak in damage, makes the citadel only good for taking damage rather than dealing. The formation proposed said 35% shield points. I assumed that meant 35% of your original, -65%, and he countered and said rather make that minus a plus. So, +65% shield.

    The one I proposed was just thinking about scorpions.
    If I were to make a real formation, it would be something like Crab.
    +35% Absorption
    +20% Shield
    -5% Damage
    -10% HP
    Might call it the Knight formation
    Would completely counter Moth and Bio.
     
  7. GUYS.. Just focus +65% shield (not 35% typographic error) +20% dmg BUT - (50-85%) movement speed. Do NOT talk about regularity take a look at DOME formation as I'm telling you again. It's disadvantages are like 67% more than the advantages.. This can be good for a lot of strategies. And stop trying to make it worse. If the support wants to make a decision it will.. There will be No chances. And it's not like "UNKILLABLE" 50-85% MINUS speed can be deadly for the USER.. When you gain something in a difficult game you have to lose something too.. It sounds easy but NOPE.. Under 200 speed can be annoying even at farming!

  8. seriously you all want to add more to the game lol don't you see it can't handle what they already have good god people. I know let's add more for something else to bug to be abused as if there isn't enough things that don't already work in the game so they could either fix them or simply delete the things that don't work. Or how about tell them the things that are broke and to fix them instead of adding more crap to an already abused game.

    And I absolutely despise any formation that takes away my speed. That's why crab is such a painful formation for me. I have it and need it, but I can't stand the decrease. Find a better way to even out that formation and I might be a little easier on you.

    But
    +65% Shield AND 20% damage is a Citadel user's dream.
    A player on a base would be incredibly difficult to handle. They might as well be another module.

    Let's rethink just a little
    +20% Shield
    +25% HP
    +10% Damage
    -15% Penetration
    -10% Absorption
