need help from support

    I need help from support but the support page hasn't worked in years, I get a blank page that refuses to let you type on it. Anyother way to help from support?

    Hi Star*Fire,

    I've just tested the support link in my signature below and it's working fine. Also tested the support link presented when you click the ? on the back page and that link is working as well.

    If you are still experiencing an issue contacting support, please try from a different PC.

    Page was blocked by anti-verus says its corupted

    Hi Star*Fire,

    I've scanned the URL for support with multiple AV programs and none of them have called out the site as corrupt or containing any virus. I'd suggest you try a different AV program.

    Can you please let me know if you are successful? Also, please reply with the AV program and version number you are using so I can report that up to the proper folks and let them know it's calling out the support site as 'corrupt'.

    no matter what do I'm not able to type on support page. It' 100% your problem at your end. had someone look at the anti-virus and was told nothing wrong on this end, now it doesn't come up corupt but the page still will excecpt input. IT guy told me it's your end. nothing they can do. been like this for years just like game stuff never repaired. We understand DO has not and will not repair the game. Thats nothing new

    Can you please try from a different computer? Again, our support pages are working fine from everywhere we've tested.

    Try opening DarkOrbit the old way - In a browser (I use Google) - You won't be able to play the game but support page and forums work.

    I had an issue Again recently where the forums would 404 via DO browser but worked fine via Google.

    can i delete download content and reinstall it without losing all my process?

    Yes you can.
    Progress is not stored on your computer, it is stored on the servers.
    You need to uninstall the game and all associated folders.

    I'd be trying my earlier suggestion first though, much easier to just login via a browser than playing around with folders if you aren't sure what you are doing.
     
  11. Hey buddy, good to see you. I just used it myself last week. Your game data is saved on the server, not your computer, so you can clear cache hourly if you wanted and you will be in the same position when you log in next. I have never had an issue with the support site and I have done it from the client, a browser on the computer and my phone. See you on West.
