Bots and Cheats ...

HAHAHAHA...The funniest thing I saw in chat today was a player who runs a bot 24 hrs a day 6 days a week crying about how unfair the trains are!!!! Suck it up cheater!!

 

indeed it is funny to see them cry about it .. nothing has been done on ge5 server ,,trains on mindfire etc ,,it is rare to even see the mindfire now again ..
GE5 sever i think they have forgotton about ,,,,, cheats botting gates 24/7 trains on mindfires and invoke /stokelights .. and then the general bots nicking npc from guys trying to do missions fairly ..

COME ON devs and the game team sort this out ,,it is your responsibility to do so ... the game already had a baD name for botting ,,but now the game is an UTTERLY DISASTER !!

Another clan member that has quit playing due to bots ! he has messaged us this "Off to play cod in abit I’ll keep my ship in clan off course but until them (swear word ) sort this out not worth it mate sorry waste of time for everyone ❤️❤️❤️"

he was doing cubes for a mission and a well known botter was getting everyone with x4 first and claiming the kill

 

The ones selling the bots are only concerned in (User use) and not the user, this was always going to be the biggest flaw in using any AI 3rd party script, NO control just like (Free will)!

 

the bots are worse now in bl maps than they ever were, its impossible to do any quest. but as usual they just ignore real people and cater for the cheats, ( makes you wonder who's selling the bots ??? )

 

im grateful to log in after 1week and see at last the gaming programmers are making things fairer pls carry on and ill deffinatly start playing more .thankyou

 

Maps are quieter and there seems to be a few less bots. Well done Bigpoint! This is a first.

 

I've been an honest player since 2009, never botted, never even had one on my computer, yet they banned me for nothing. Its absolutely insane.

 

why not all and only random?
u say who are still using this bot should take this warning very seriously!
why dont ban them also?

OK, So this is my Issue with this. The 1st Ban Wave for Trains, you said that it was a WARNING, and that all Pilots affected would have all their Honor Point removed and down to Zero.
That did not happen! I went up 20 in the Top Users into the Top 40 Players. Then when those Pilots got their Accounts Back, I went down in Rank to where I was.

Now, the 2nd Time pilots were banned for Trains, you once again say they are Banned Temporarily, and as a WARNING.

Excuse me, but didn't they get their Warning already?? Nobody lost their Honor Points in the 1st Ban and probably will not in this 2nd Ban!

Sorry, but do as you SAY you WILL and don't Claim otherwise.

We will see in a few days on the Leader Boards

 

Hope the CMs and support are aware that some legitimate players were banned in this recent ban wave on GE5.. Please review..

 

I know of 2 legitimate players that were banned on GE5, one was my brother who doesn't use anything, spends loads on the game and worked really hard for his ship.

Now that action is being taken against the bots. Bigpoint can now strategize and market this game accordingly. Imagine a year without bots like it has been, players can now naturally grow and this game may get advertised again.

well I say like this i was banned for 3rd party program still don't know what that is. so i have no idea why i was banned i am a human all the time. so dark orbit finds something i don't have so what makes them saying it again and i have no account . i will not put no money in my ship not buying no bigpoint

 

I think its quite cute how a game so broken can also have completely broken "detection" routines which bans 100% completely honest players who haven't used a bot in like, I dunno, 14 years since they started playing the game like myself.

Its absolutely insane, and they are 100% sure the detection is correct, they are killing the game themselves now, its not the botters or train users, its the genuine players they are removing lol.

Its completely mind boggling how they've come to the decision that an account which has been legit since day 1 has been detected using a 3rd party program.

 

Yeah, Hope we see a reply from BP regarding the banning of genuine players and some compensation soon. This isnt the first time genuine players have been banned for "Botting". Theres a post from 2013 from BP apologizing to players on this same very issue with compensation given out..

 

yeah either ban them all or none at all, my small acc got banned for no reason, legit just bought real time boosters and was doing mindfire and stroke and then paff , banned . yall either make it fair and ban them all or none or at least , at the very least , test your script first before destroying our accounts

 

I'm sorry but I think you believing the game has any future is just funny.
A year without bots - you mean a year with 20 maybe 30% of the current active accounts. Botters still pay premium and many buy rebate, that's a lot of money BP is throwing away. Could you take a 70 to 80% pay cut and survive?

IMO, a year without bots DarkOrbit would be no more
It's a near 20 year old game running on a minimal budget with minimal support staff (Developers) on bug ridden, obsolete software.
There is a reason Adobe ended support and every mainstream browser no longer support Flash..

98 million registered accounts.. Sadly less than 1% of those still play world wide.

 

I believe anything is possible. Taking action against bots is a step in the right direction. I'm sure all the botters who paid for premium and rebate can still do so whilst playing legit and fairly. If people need a third party program to boost their account then they do not truly love the game.
