Except, you forget that Darkorbit is a point & click game. 99% of the Darkorbit Botting programs use image recognition to identify targets, and it's EXTREMELY easy to program & develop one yourself. This requires zero integration or manipulation within the game, just a screen large enough to get the view you need.

 

that is true but most unity ( most good unity ) games do require you to download a 3rd party that could theoretically register if another 3rd party program or a macro is used. otherwise I fully agree, hell, you can make a macro to do everything for you if you really want to in almost select/click games xd

 

That's not true at all, pixel bots are a thing of the past, nowadays bots directly send requests to the servers to do things, without having to click anywhere...

By the way, the unity open beta thing was pushed to Prod servers this morning along with the sync, so it's still planned for July so far:

what the? it used to run on sub ghz cpus, with less than 512mbs of ram, what happened?
soydev bloat, can't optimize game just throw absurd requirements, I can play more advanced and beautiful games with less powerful pc

 

There are plenty of the games that match, or exceed, the specs outlined. This is equivalent to the "Recommended Spec," not minimal. Something big must be happening...

And also to keep in mind, they either had to translate, or completely remake the game. This game thus far has been running on extremely old code, made by devs/designers that have long since left BigPoint/DO. I'm not at all surprised that the recommended specs are what they are.

That's very low. There is like 13000 players online atm... and almost everyone wanna check this client..

 

those are accounts, not players. 400 players is roughly 8% of the current player base as there are a lot of bots and train accounts so people with multiple accounts which are active due to them running programs.

 

It's the 20th of the month and still the test server regarding Unity has not opened. Is there any progress??

no country in the world uses day-year-month format, most common is mm/dd/yy or dd/mm/yy, but never dd/yy/mm.

 

The date is simply the planned test. Doesn't always mean public. With the planned time of release, my guess is that they reached out & handpicked 400 players to try it out already. I don't see it being open & it being first come, first serve.

Yeah my bad, I didn't check it properly before just working on formatting etc the post. Thanks for pointing that out... Goliath being called a Citadel, lol not sure how I totally skipped past that. (images were called one thing, but were actually all something else)

Can always just ignore the loli stuff, but if enough people are bothered by it, I may change it.
