So all the things i have gained over years of playing this are no more when they end the old servers

i believe you all know the question. this is something that needs to be answers. i see post on here that states, when you enter the unity server nothing from our old accounts goes to the new server. so that means we are all starting from basic space pilots again, all item's and rank are all gone? but as we all know we can never get a straight answer from anyone in big point. or one at all, for that matter.

 

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but, I believe that you will have to start from basic space pilot (lose your rank) if you join the PVE Unity server. If you're just moving to the PVP Unity server and staying in whatever server you've been playing (for example GA2), your rank and equip will transfer. At least it did for me when I tried the Unity server, I just prefer to still play the flash client (less buggy).

 

correct, you're only starting over if you start playing in the new PVE server, if you're staying on your current server you will have all of your data transferred over, nothing should get lost. Plus, we can still use the old client to log in if you do not want to use Unity, though it might be fazed out completely in a few months to at most a year.
