Bots and Cheats ...

Darkorbit has become a bot /sell /buy game to feed usrs drugs habits . In all honestly the game should be banned .
Im not naive and know that most games has some bots .. but this game is RIDICULOUS

 

Seems the bots were out of action for more than 24 hours, what ever BP did it shows it is possible from their end to stop the bots. All the clan battle stations were clear with no auto CBS building/bots ruining all the other maps too.

It was hilarious earlier watching some of the top botting clans trying to get lock in the PVP maps without their usual paid for box of tricks, They are absolutely hopeless without them .

Soon as BP changed something or the BOT developers updated something (maybe they are the same people), the bots were back and all the sad and pathetic players set up their CBS bots again!

Its not so many years ago that BP used to investigate IPs and who was controlling what account, and taking harsh action accordingly. Iv seen people openly admitting bot usage in global chat now, nothing is ever done.

Without pretending none of this happening or putting your fingers in your ears and going "lalalalalalala", When are these bot clans going to get permanently banned?

 

Has anyone been successful in getting refunds through support?

I have been reporting the same bot train on GE5 sever with evidence (screen shots/videos) for weeks now,

Myself and 4 of my boys have all cancelled our rebate and premium subscriptions
as unable to progress further in the game due to the trains.
(After we cancelled, We told support we are doing this out of protest)

Seeing as absolutely nothing was done about the reports,
I have also asked support for 5 lots of refunds for this month.

5 lots of battle passes
5 lots of season passes
5 lots of varied uridium bundles

Support have been as helpful as they can be and are replying promptly

My question is, has anyone else tried to do similar, and were you successful?
(or is there a better route?)​

 

actually i did the same i think on thursday or friday .cancelled my subscriptions cuz couldnt progress further with missions and saw no point carrying on with the game .told support my reasons and they said lmao we will send this to the team to investigate . i didnt ask for a rfund tho ,just said bye until you get a grip on the game coz at moment no point continuing to play as it is .

 

Glad im not the only one, I guess they are happy with the status quo.
I admit their logic completely baffled me as they have favoured account sharing/selling/cheats (whom I am guessing spend very little real money) instead of 5 players who dropped BP just under £1k within 2 weeks of returning and who spend real money weekly

If a company and staff can afford to do this in this current economy, fair play to them.
Those players will soon be the kings of ... Nothing ​

y'all can also sue them, not individually, but with a class action. You should contact a consumer protection attorney or a class action plaintiff's lawyer in your area about this. that could end up with them cracking down on the ones developing cheats or the company itself.

 

Ironically after being quoted Section 37 VSBG by support about refunds ,I mentioned that Section 37 VSBG is listed way way after all the terms and conditions about cheating and punishments and that detections/punishments were not being maintained thus making any conditions mentioned after this is pretty much null an void. I was in court/tribunal a lot last year (chasing IP infringements and currently have a perfect record of winning) cant actually afford it at the moment but someone needs to.​

Whats gonna happen when these share holders find out that 10000's of these so called "Active monthly users" are in fact only a
handful of basement dwelling guys in their 25-30s still living at home with their mothers and not spending a penny.

Not taking the obligated action mentioned in BP's T&C
is basically Share sale and investment fraud!




Either find these guys their 1st Boyfriend (no judgement) (from what iv seen, very few of them are into Women)
or just start real meaningful bans like the old days!​

 

Idk if there is a cheat that auto-locks even on cloaked players. Just last week I was cloaked and literally hiding in a tight group of mordons. There were these EIC dudes that were flying tail to tail like a centipede formation, it was weird. They passed me just fine. They were roaming around the map at the time. After a while, they came back in a straight line, and the last dude just one shotted me. They passed to the right, far from where my ship was, and the mordon pack was still there. I did get a reply from support though which is nice.

Also, from the p2w standpoint, I think the game is still manageable as a free to play. The only time I spend was a couple of dollars on that 35k Uri promo that you usually see on the top right. And that was once when my acc was new. I managed to build up my skylab fast, do quest for honor to get the 100% sell value, level up to 17 to get the 4k Uri daily mission. I have full lf4, bo2 speed gen, got all 10 havocs (44/45 for Apis, 15 parts for Zues currently), all Goliath ships except Spectrum. I got cita, lightning, spear, aegis, more than half my tech tree done, almost finished Kronos, without spending a dime. It took 8 months though XD. But everything is manageable if you properly manage Uri. Dailies give you 7-8k Uri at lvl 17, never let Uri below 200k, and you'll be able to build Zeta within a week at best, 2 weeks mostly.

The only sad thing is it's hard to compete with bots in most events. They will always outrank, and outkill you. Especially Astral event which drains your soul just trying to clear the waves at an awfully slow pace.

 

yeah it s called autolock and there are a few programs that do the same thing. i left my old clan because too many were using it.

i WILL POINT OUT * LACK OF DEVELOPER ACTION ,, They ignore and delete any feedback that is valuable but negative to them .,this why the games anuall accounts have nosedived this yr .

Well as I was doing my daily and swarmed by a massive group of linked ships shooting aliens in 1-7 its clear they do not care.
Same people. Same clans. Same apps.

DO only moderates information and posts. The game is just new expensive weapons and add-ons that may or may not work as advertised.

Same events. Same missions no new ideas.

 

its lovely to go on BL maps to try and farm some Invokes than all of a sudden there is train of bots from the [REMOVED] on GE7 killing any player, like literally a train of 5-10 players acting like bots moving from one BL to another, either they farm players either they farm Mindifire and kill along the way all players. Lovely

True you are about all that you stated. Dark Orbit should know it was their fault for loosing so many players and many new players see these problems and go elsewhere. They must feel that the players they have bring in enough money and play that it is ok. In all the years they have had this game out only the first 2or 3 years were great and then the cheats came along and the players that just spend lots of money. They have failed to ever correct many of the game problems and excepted many of them as ok. Mostly bots which we know are cheater which is against their rules, but its ok with them !!! Maybe as the continue to have less players they will get the hint. It was once a good and fun game and has been allowed to those upper players destroying it.

BP currently getting slaughtered in the Steam reviews.

I wonder if BP/Chinese shareholders still think they know whats best?

 

pretty obvoius they would get slautered in steam . its the only place you can leave a review without them deleting it .

cant even play on our server great britain .. "great britain " the server that cheats are not looked at to be banned but can play on ge5 lol . but on steam you cant play there as there is no great britain server . LOOL and DEVeloper says on steam they are taking the cheats very seriously on all steam servers .., but yet anyone with a normal global 5 account there can login .. LMAO

i mean on steam client if you select global 5 to login to you will be on the global 5 server in flash /unity client .but he say he only taking seriusly the steam cheats lol .

LOL and on the steam reviews ,developer answered to someones review ,saying he will take all the cheating on steam servers very seroiosly and will be ramping up catching them . lool so ignore the flash /unity guys there .
