Classic 1st post spelling fail haha

 

It does seem a bit overwhelming but everything that is new does in the beginning. I just hope that there will be additional features compared to the old forum. Otherwise, I don't really see the point to the change...

 

You should probably give it a bit of time before making any calls. I'm finding some very interesting new features so I suggest you play around a bit before delivering your judgement.

I've noticed some very interesting changes after a look around so I'll post the top 5 that matter the most to me...

1. There are new notification tools that are not dissimilar to the design of Facebook (hopefully I don't get any game requests or poke notifications ), as well as a Private Messaging system which, in turn has removed the old 'Messages to Players' section.

2. There is an "Official Forum Games" section rolleyes as well as a few other sections that are new. As far as I can tell, the old "Fan Fiction" section has been completely removed.

3. The toolbar for new posts/threads has some new features that make it similar to programs such as MS Word for easier utilisation and maneuverability. The new 'trophy' system still relies partially on post count but it will provide a better account of a users reputation than the system that relied solely on post count.

4. All language forums are now connected right from the start. My initial thoughts on this are negative but I will keep them to myself for now. There is however, a report button located under each post - curious as to how this system will be handled.

5. The "Technical Issues" section is open to all players once again (you are allowed to post on other's threads).

Well, a move in the right direction, give it a while. Like most new things ya got to use it to findout whats good and or bad.

 

i like it as me old forum name was banned indefinitely with no chance of changing name woooo xx

 

whether you like it or not, it's not gonna be changed for at least 6 more years. so go hard or go home.

Art of Adaptation... If we can't adapt with this new forum then its time to say goodbye to the forum.

 

Tbf you should give it a bit of time, before you comment on it string :L... It's a bit like when they placed the new UI, many hated it because the 'range change', and stuff, but grew to like it lol... Give it time m8

I agree with oracle, gonna have to get used to this.

 

The new layout defeinatly is going to take some getting used to, its user friendly, but there are a lot of options hidden within the settings.

 

Its nice but cant better!

 

I think the new forum is good, it is easy to navigate, is easy on the eye and has some interesting / useful new function.

Unless I'm missing it there does not seem to be a private tech section.

anyways to your Question i did too notice this and asking a admin today via chat juturna told me that any private tech will have to be dealt with support now

 

At first I really wasn't used to this new layout and I admit I had my doubts. Lately however I have seen major improvements as well as some excellent features on this new forum. I hope they can fix the signatures so I can put one up again.
