[TI] Help?

I've been working pretty hard on getting everything i need to do more damage, spent a lot of time shooting aliens/npc and what not and i have 3 Basic drones, i think they're called flax or something. I have 4 LF-3s (2 being LF-3 Level 2s) the rest and 14 LF2.
I was averaging 1.7k - 2.1k with x1 Ammo. As im hitting a sibelon and it's about half hp, my damage suddenly drops to 450-600 and i have no idea why. It made it nearly impossible to kill it so i had to switch to Uri rockets to finish it off.
Anyone know what could be causing this? If so how can i fix this?

Also, Could a mod/admin reset my signature for me? It's stuck and i cant see the img when i attempt to edit it to put an image in then gives me a ('There cant be two images' warning). Thanks

 

were your lasers and rockets upgraded with sep or prom?.. if that ran out on lasers then that would cause a sudden drop in damage as Sep gives a 60% boost (fix would be upgrade with sep again )... or if you were using x3 ammo and ran out and the settings are for an auto-change of ammo and it went to x1 ( )...
apart from that I cant think... hope that helps

Did you by chance hit the "c" button on your keyboard and change your configuration on your ship?

Go to Hangar and manage your active ship, click the "1" and "2" (top left corner of hangar window) and make sure both configs have been equipped. This has been a common oversight causing the problems.

Thanks to everyone for their assistance and suggestions. Hopefully the information provided will be helpful in locating the cause of the issue you were having with damage.

Also for your signature, please see this link. When you get to the area where you edit your signature, just delete everything in the box and save it, then start again. This should clear the error of multiple images.

Do you, the original poster, have any further questions for us or may we close this thread?

 

Thank you everyone, I hit the 'c' and was in the wrong config!! Oddessey, would you mind resetting my sig please? It's messed up on my end so i cant actually see the IMG to edit it.

 

Unfortunately, I am unable to do that for you. Can you please check to see if anything shows up in the BB Code, after you enter the area to edit your signature? If so, just erase/delete anything in there and save it to start over. You can see the BB Codes by clicking this button...



It should be at the right end of the tool bar at the top of the edit box.

 

Do this:

Go into the signature box, and click anywhere in it.

Hit "Ctrl + A"
This command selects everything in that box.
Then hit the "Del" key or "Backspace."

And to get the image properly, use the Direct Link or Image Link to get it in.
