Update

Hello i have been playing this game for over 6 years and am very aware of everything that goes on here .. I am a high paying player have spent thousands on this expensive game ...

As a paying player on this game i would love an Update it seems Darkorbit has forgot about the game and almost does not care about it anymore ... Bring out LF5 ... BO3 Or some more drones ?? We need something For us high paying players that keep the game going we need some kind of update to advance over those who do not pay ..

 

You pay to for the privilege of getting things quick, it's been over 2 years since LF-4 and Havoc came out, the majority of players on DO still don't have full LF-4 or Havoc.
I don't know why you seem to think that since you payed for it then nobody else should get it ...

Helping noob players is good, it encourages activity, people left because the game was too expensive.
Price of upgrades has not been reduced for free players, that pay the same price for upgrades as everyone else.

If you are so desperate to pay money, do gates and go for level 25.

Free players keep the game running by keeping WW's like you happy with easy kills, the game is fine the way it is, if you pay so much you should be Ufe and should have an advantage, this should be posted in the Update and Idea Section so I could properly give feedback on Lf5 and Bo3, hell no. Your pretty foolish to even think Darkorbit/Bigpoint favors free players with all the recent expensive updates and crappy events such as Ref bots, maybe a few free players are close to Ufe but I doubt any free player could ever attain all of what a WW like you has, you want 1 million shields and the ability to hit 500k as an advantage? How have upgrade prices been reduced? The 25% off upgrading hour that you might be able to catch once every few months, its your own fault to be paying full price and if your the WW you claim to be then you should have a 30% discount with premium and rebate.

 

IF thats the same badboy that was in motu we all know from gb1 how you became uber fe enough said.

If its a differnt badboy its your fault for paying nobody forced you to pay and where you see BP favoring free players ? same expensive updates etc so nothing has got any better for free players really.

( I had to reply to this post ... I spend hundreds of pounds weekly on the game sometimes .. Why should players like myself not have more than others ??
You also say helping noob players is good i also disagree with this why should high payment players buy there ammo/etc and then use it to fund other peoples accounts ?? We were all noobs once but i for one did not ask others to level my account up by using there own equipment ..
Rank is not important but paying and having the edge i feel is .. You are basically saying for example if a rich man went and bought a car in real life he then should help the rest of the world to buy a car ?
This is life ..... Online/Offline it does not work that way ... Paying game .. Paying players get the edge its the way it works on every game .

 

Why am i getting free players reply where is the UFE that feel the same as me lol come on guys we need an update and yes i am Badboy from MoTu i became UFE buy spending cash on a regular basis on 4 different accounts over 4 servers Borg .

Nobody is asking you to buy uridium for other people, where have you got that idea from that it is your responsibility to help weaker players?

I have two UFE accounts.

There are very few people that will feel the same way as you, the vast majority of spending UFE understand how the game actually works and that we need new players to keep it alive, not more uridium updates.

 

How do you know the people replying are 'free players'? And not ALL of us spenders/ex spenders think the same way as you do nor does the fact we disagree with your opinion/thought.

I am almost UFE (just need upgrades now) and a high paying player but I still believe we need updates to favour the free players. Without them, the game would be even more empty than it is now (hard to believe it could be worse, I know)...

You say you want more power?! That says a lot. The gap is already far enough between basic FE and UFE, and even bigger between basic FE and CHEAT. A lot of us had to get to where we are without cheating and account trading etc. and personally I believe they should make it easier for noobs to get UFE. Closing the gap would mean more fights and less 3 hit kills. At the moment its a battle of who can use moth and hit the hardest. SAB has pretty much disappeared from use (for me at least) and it just doesn't feel like a game of skill any more. And I have been hunting for many years, and I am one of the people who now just uses moth x4 RSB because that is pretty much the only option and it is a very boring option. We need the gap closed. Like it used to be.

Badboy, the UFE's are over powered already. I was FE 2 years ago and then when all the drones, designs, special ships, extra gates, LF4 came out I stayed still and can now barely 1v1 anyone with more than 8 drones and some LF4's, so you are massively ahead.

BigPoint are trying to get more players on game and in the hope they spend uri. They cannot widden the gap between new player and UFE even more as it is already ridiclously big gap.

 

old old players will remember how it felt 2 become, just plain fe ,before all bio and upgrades came along,them days were great even a new player could make port if he had sab ammo ,game was FUN back then ,always packed maps,i used to sit 2-4 tlp and watch the 60 odd noobs fight over sibs for hours was bloody great laugh Tell me what we have now thats fun and makes new players actualy want to stay more than a few days when an ufe decloaks on a ship with 2k shields that dared to move from port.and im a free player by choice now all i have is prem,used to feed 6 accounts 3/4 times a week,now all thats left to do for fun is try to make your ship better for free and to slap yourself if u r about to hit buy it now buttoni been around years on gb1 server and i cant see any point in getting ufe in a week just to go cloak emp and run like all the ufes do,fun is in the fight and if u get very lucky a win.xxxxxxxx luvys p1

 

Agreed above packhunter, all these few dozen WW's just ruined the game for the thousands of players that would have stayed and played.

 

No, the paying players did not ruin this game, the people in-charge of DO at the time did for thinking it was acceptable to make such a big gap between WW and free / small paying players.

 

Yep you can argue that, but they made those available because the top players at the time a.k.a. -DINO- etc. all wanted to be more powerful than those who can just spend a couple of hundred quid. And ofc, BigPoint being a business, decided yep lets make thousands of these players.

 

Badboy, free players or not we are all entitled to an opinion.

You say that you want MORE power? Your already Ufe, there has to be a balance in the game otherwise the free players will just leave, the maps will be empty and you will feel the negative impact.

This game has never been about the free players, ever.

 

Bottom line is that the game needs new players badly. It needs new players to stay on as well. I agree top enders need new gear, but not power. There is plenty of damage out there. On a side note, I left this game for five months and just came back. Not impressed with the AMOUNT of changes. Hopefully this mission update will be cool.

 

Do you realize calling what you have now an "edge" is a huge understatement. An edge is premium where you get an extra quickslot bar and those small aids. If there is another big update with a chance item only I'm done along with every other free player. If that happens you lose your advantage over anyone and you will be put to shame for not having the skills you acquire from earning everything. Maybe you wouldn't lose interest if you didn't buy everything they put out immediately. You could buy most of whatever the item is then earn the rest if that is what your looking for.

From the Dev Blog, I can confirm this and get it out of your head:

The LF-5 and BO-3 will NOT be released into the game.

You have people running 2 mil shields on both configs and people hitting 230k at the same time, you want more power for the dying servers?
