Be aware of fake Facebook/ social site profiles

    Hello Space Pilot

    We would like to warn you about fake profiles on Facebook. There are people who pretend to be Bigpoint employees, and will offer you DarkOrbit items for cash in private messages. This is a scam, and they try to get your user data to hack your account or rip off your money.

    Please let us clarify that we do not support Bigpoint games, nor do we sell ingame items, on Facebook. You can only purchase ingame items in the game itself through our payment. Any other way is illegal and most likely a scam.

    Currently known and used profile names are:

    - Pavel Schmidt or Pawel Schmidt
    - Michael Schamberger
    - Richard Schmidt
    - George Wilson
    - Neiko Hartung
    - Neiko Hartung Sr.
    - Vicent Martinez
    - Andreas Lober
    - Caspian Rc Gwt

    If one of those or another fake profile will contact you, please report the profile as fake to Facebook through the dedicated function on the respective profile page.

    As a brief reminder: please be aware that Bigpoint employees or representatives will never contact you directly on Facebook or other social networking sites to offer you special deals.

    Special offers are made to all players & fans via our official channels (Official Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or Newsletters)

    If you are contacted by such a person or come across such an offer, then please report it to the administrative entity of that particular social networking site and to us via the support contact form.

    Remember, you account's safety is your responsibility. If an offer looks too good to be true, then it probably is.

    Here are some tips that you can use to keep your account safe!
