  1. Just sitting here thinking about the state of the game, trolling some of the
great ideas floating around the forum. Then I noticed how much respect and
consideration the UFE/BIG spenders get when making changes to the game.
Someone always try to kill the idea by saying "oh we cant do that UFE's paid
to much, "Thats a great idea but UFE"s worked hard to get their stuff" or " we
can't do this or that because UFE' would be to annoyed."
I'm starting to get annoyed by all the excuse being made about what UFE's
had to do.We should come together on this one. We don't need excuses we
need the change, the typ of changes that will consider everyone.TBH initially, I
was making the same mistake.I didn't want people getting stuff I paid millions
and thousands of hours to get.I decided to not let this excuse be what stops
    change.
I'm ok with new people getting stuff cheaper than me.Cause really in the end,
I been playing almost 6 yrs in all that a pretty big advantage over a new person.
& so what if UFE"S or BIG SPENDERS get annoyed sometimes we all do:D

  2. Agree. If big spenders want to spend their money to get to UFE quicker, then that is their choice & no-one forces them.

In real life, when a new product comes out, it is always more expensive when it first comes out.

  3. Reduce uri prices then...

Cheaper for me to get ammo

Cheaper for them to catch up with me

In the long run closer fights and more fun - everyone wins.

The way I see it is, reducing prices of uridium is a terrible idea - you want to make the game even more pay to win? That's how you do it, make it even easier for only the paying players to advance.

The other side of the coin in making UFE items easier to get, e.g giving them out in more quests, putting them in weekly trade is the better way to go in my opinion. I think the people who have to mind set of "it was hard / expensive for me to get LF4 etc, so it should be hard for you" are short sighted, selfish and possibly even scared that if it was a even playing field they would fail.
That kind of attitude will just hinder the game even further, they would rather hurt the progress of getting more active players in the game just for the sake of themselves. Not surprisingly, these are the same people that cry and complain that the servers are empty, I wonder why ...

Sorry to say this but all equipment ammo etc etc should remain the same price and the same chance to gain such items / some players like myself did pay to play and yes it is a choice to pay but think about this as a paying customer you wouldnt want to go to say McDonalds and pay 5.99 for a combo meal and the next customer that comes along gets it for free because he or she cant pay that price this is whats call commerce / Items are produced and sold for a reason profit and without profit this game or business running would shut down. I do agree that new items could be made to be gained a little easier but currently all I have seen is Dark Orbit doing is removeing quest reduceing rank from aliens killed adding new quest that all can do and stateing this is to make it a level playing field for all players well its not supposed to be a level playing field players starting 4 5 or 6 years ago are supposed to be stronger ranked higher level and have more ep/honor then a player starting 6 months ago.

    just my thoughts on this

  6. The Ufe's need to quit crying, they whine because the games dead and then denounce every idea because it would negatively effect them or so they think. No one forced you to pay to play or buy anything, it should be easier to attain Ufe status to make the game more fair and balanced and more fun for everyone. Get the idea of lowering prices on uridium out of your head because it's a bad idea, end of story.

No it should not be easier to become Ufe it should be the same now thats the end of the story

  8. Thx for the input everyone, you all have made valid points. The problem is
it takes too long or cost too much for a new player to build a ship that they
can even stand a chance in.We haven't even mention getting to UFE.Back
in the day If you player hard you could FE in a matter of months, if you
spent some money even sooner. To save the game we cant think about all
we had to go through to get our stuff.By the way it's really none of my
business if the person behind me got their meal free.I sure it happens all
    the time.:D

  9. Half of the UFE players are staged, there are very few actual 100% legit UFE players. Before someone tears into my comment I will admit there are plenty of UFE players that're not staged and are either big spenders or have many hours of game play.

  10. Explain why that's a good idea?

  11. If you want to get ufe work for it or pay for it. Why should big point give handouts to the pan handlers that dont want to earn it for themselves.

  12. Don't worry COWBOY·FROM·HELL I don't think anyone is talking about
handouts here. All were saying is DO should be able to rebalance this
    so it works for everyone.

  13. By rebalance are you implying that the game was balanced at 1 time? There has always been a large gap between the noobs and the FE or now UFE. Short of BP selling you an UFE account when you first start playing there will always be a gap. This is what speeds up the learning curve as far as survival in the game. There have been many new additions in the past 2 or 3 yrs to help the noobs and of course since they have seen BP cave and cater to them they are whining for more. Nothing that BP does will ever be enough to silence the noobs. They will always want more for little to no work.

I can remember having to do devos with help and only 1 of us got the kill so 3 ppl would have to alternate getting the kills and at the same time be on the lookout for enemies. Now all 3 players would get credit for the kill, meaning they would earn more and use less ammo in doing so, yet this isnt enough. It used to take an hour sometimes longer just to get out of your x-1 map as FEs were always hunting noobs, we didnt cry about it we learned to avoid them and get to x-2 before getting popped and having to do it all over again, no jump cpus or x-1 dmz.

If you cant afford a few bucks a week like I can, then you just have to do more work. Nothing worth having is given away, you must buy it or earn it. No reason for BP to give it away to satisfy the noobs of today, they didnt give us alot of the things they give the noobs today and we didnt cry or whine, we just worked harder.

  14. AHH, those were the days.I believe back in those days it took 3 to 6 months
to get FE. IF you worked hard or spent some money sooner.Look what we have
now.:(Newbs should have better/more ways to get good equipment for the
simple fact that the game is 3x more expensive than it used to be and the servers
are empty. If they could survive a little bit better they may stick around to become
future wallet warriors or occasional spenders.

As I have said many time, the best solution is to "reduce the cost of all items over time."

So items like lf3s by now would be a few K credit.

Iris would be a few k uri in total for all 8, not the hundred of K uri they currently cost.

BIO skills would require a fraction of the PPS they are these days.

The yield for items like havoc in zetas would be 100% by now.

Booty boxes would yield more blue prints and LF4s.

All items that are changed from uri to credit items should not be hundreds of k credit like what happened with items like B01s that ended up costing more as they could be obtained from the auction much cheaper before they where changed to credit items.

For the paying players that say things like we had to spend x to get everything:-

Firstly what about the cheats that got them for doing nothing or from abusing bugs to get them like the gate LF4 and Havoc bugs which the cheats got to keep all the LF4s and havoc that they got free.

It is common practise that Item when new cost a premium for those that are prepared to get them first. The then quickly reduce in price and by the time they become obsolete they cost a fraction of the cost when they first came out.

Engage the thrusters and prepare for battle in the free space MMO. Team up with millions of space pilots for a bitter fight to the end

This game now is just a load of boring trollop , log on and everyone is either sat in pally field or in a galaxy gate !!
Fly around my own uppers there maybe 1 person in x7 ,3 people in x6 and thats it ! Not even enough to make a 7 man outfit .
Have not seen a single clan hunt in like 2 years and not seen a company hunt in about 4 years !!
Most players will not even leave their own maps untill they are ubfe and thats going to take them about 2 years .
No action what so ever in any of the battle maps as the advanced jump cpu took all that fun away from us .
Just got face facts that this game is dead and burried and the only people to blame are the developers who apparently claimed to know what they was doing .
This game now is simply just a kiddies game where they log on and shoot some rubbish looking npc for a few hours a day .

  17. i used to play battlestar alot before this & wot was really cool was the class battle ups where u wud get transported to battle map to fight sum1 at random of yr own level! biggest gripe i hear from noobs leaving to play candy crush or wotever is that its impossibel to fight sum1 of similiar strength in good bust up. they either get atomised in nano second by elite or shoot morderns till week next tues?#yawns# pvp is the reason why this game has massive fun moments & it needs that aspect enhanced for all levels ..then this game will attract more players who stay & hey ...thats good for everyone! patty out x

The fact is a baby has to learn to crawl before it sits up then it learns to stand and last walk / as with this game a new player has to learn the ins and outs of the game they need to learn how to either earn there right to the equipment or pay for the right to obtain the equipment if support was to just give equipment away then what has a new player learned { nothing } but a paying player has learned that he means nothing so to answer you the reason its good is because players like my self either payed or played to obtain all that we have and it is only right they should have to also.

  19. Learning to crawl and walk shouldn't be dying and farming for two years, most don't even make it the point of Ufe without spending or just giving up and quitting.

What is with you and hating everything that might make the game a little better or more lively?

  20. How is giving people elite items making the game better? Building your ship is a big part of the game, you can build it with clan credits, by farming npcs or by spending cash. Personally I did all 3 and Im not ufe after more than 4 yrs of playing, but if I continue to play I will get there. I have over 21k ship kills, so you dont have to be ufe to be an effective hunter, or to defend yourself while killing npcs, you just need to use the skills you learn from playing the game.
