It is an American thing The wording was angled that way. In USA it is not called football

 

I doubt that all the moderators are british, so I wouldn't be surprised if they put "soccer" instead of "football", because that's how we say it in America. He probably didn't say soccer when he said that (if he ever did), but the person translating it from one language to another put that instead.

 

Presume it's because this forum is in English (US). Hate it when some words appear underlined in the forums due to them being the English (UK) versions. E.g colour (UK) and color (US), similarly with Honour and Honor..
It seems they plan on using the American terminology also.

I wish they would change the in-game spelling for the GB servers to English (UK). I feel annoyed seeing 'honor' everywhere in game. (of course leave the forums as they are)

 

Well, when I type in honour - my spellchecker gives me a redline under honour, but not honor. Probably a majority use the American English style instead of the UK English style in communicating.

 

The spelling corrections for honour and colour are because of your browser, not the forums. The forums doesn't provide a built-in spell check.

I don't know about other browsers but I use chrome and you can change the language to British English and it will underline color and honor as being incorrect and colour / honour as correct.

Nope - we have not been going off topic - it is about whos who 'football' and we are just defending our honor or honour The OP needs to chime in.

Regarding the video it is flopping, but no fake injury is the difference in the two sports.

Only one country doesn't use the metric system - guess who?
