Video Contest Prolonged, New Voting System

    Greetings, Pilots!

    At first, we are happy to announce that the test server is open again. We have now implemented the new drone formations. Please test those and provide feedback on visual appearance and balancing.

    To give more players the chance to participate in the video contest we have prolonged the deadline by 2 days until 1 July 2015, 18h (UTC+2). Unfortunately, we have realized that some players seem not to be able to participate in contests in a fair way and, thus, we had to change the voting system. We cannot accept that players vote for their own videos with multiple accounts and, thus, the forum admins and moderators will vote for the top 3 videos of each forum after checking that their favorited posts have not been manipulated.

    We are really disappointed in the unfair behavior of some of the participants and did not see any other possibility than to choose the winners by our teams. We hope for your understanding.

    Hello again^ ^

    The test server needed to be closed prematurely. Seems there's an awful lot of spacepilots who wanted to get in there, and it was beginning to affect other aspects of the game, even for those not trying to get in the test server.

    We are sorry we couldn't inform you ahead of time as this needed to be decided and enacted quickly.

    Thank you for all your help and eagerness in seeing what's to come and make it better for release :)
