[SC] GET THE SCALES OUT

This game is quite possibly the most unbalanced game i have EVER played in my 35 years of gaming!

Why on earth are top players who have most likely spent thousands on the ships able to simply fly into the lower maps where learners are trying to build their ships and simply destroy every single player in the maps so many times over that the new players just give up and log off?

I started playing this game about 3 weeks ago as it looked pretty cool and is what i was looking for, but having now experienced the trauma of having to fly from 3-1 to 3-3 or 3-4 just to be destroyed instantly as soon as i start to attack an npc and then have to travel all the way back from 3-1 once again well i can understand why there doesnt seem to be any new players anywhere as this whole experience is not only very frustrating but is incredibly dull and repetitive.

Am i missing something here? Am in the wrong maps? Im level 15 but i get the feeling i shouldnt be in 3-3 or 3-4 as it seems to be where all the big players are so is there some special maps for new starters that i should be in as i cant do any pvp at all i just seem to be a sitting duck for anyone nme that comes into the maps.

Very strange game indeed with regards to how top nme players are mixed with new starters.

I get where you are coming from with no real starting area for new players to just learn the game without being slapped left and right. Fortunately when you started, you were afforded a time where other players could not attack you. Alas, all good things must come to an end and we must contend with the PVP that is the game. Well more like the slaughter but you already know that.

I play in a Big Boy and a Nostro, with all credit gear, and just made level 16. You would think I did nothing but die, but I have only had to repair my drones twice since starting in Dec. Lower maps is where most of the action of the game is. Most events are based in lower maps, which puts starting players in harms way. Assembly is going on now so you have two threats, enemy and company shooters. Company shooters that I am referring to are the ones that want all the goodies for themselves.

You are playing in the right maps, the bad thing is everyone else is there too. With assembly, they have two missions, collect material and kill all the fodder in their path.

 

Regrettably as you stated the game has become very imbalanced since they added the "Elusive LF-4" laser. It is so imbalanced that players that have been with the game since its release (10 years ago) have even given up on the game. It is a sad fact that if you do not have a FAST, Shielded Ship you are going to be popped regularly. If you were to post equipment owned, server played, ship types you own, drones, and if you have a PET we might give a little more direction on which way to go.

Other questions I would ask;

• What server do you play?
• what level is your SkyLab?
• What is your primary playing style (I know you say no PvP, but are you a Bonus Box collector, Quest player, or just a PvE killing anything NPC)?
• Do you use the AUCTION?
• Do you plan on spending money on the game?
• Have you tried to locate or in a Clan?

These answers can help us give you a little better direction on how to help you with your game experience, and might even give you some help to find some support in your game play.

The best advice I can give you is to have 2 speed confgs on your ship with one of these confgs containing all shields on drones - just to run away. Equally, use a leo or vengie in lowers as either the home maps advantage or speed of the veng this will give you a slight advantage in lower maps. The more experience you have and in turn and better equipment you get the more you can change these suggested confs. Moreover, find a helpful clan on your server.

The tops players will always go after the new and smaller players on this game (guess it makes them feel big). You will never be able to change that. However, stick with it and after a time you will be able to hold your own against these players.

I think and this is only my opinion, because of the recent problems with the game players are playing less because they are waiting for the game to be fixed so there is not much else for the top players to do otherwise they would be on other maps where there would usually be more players. So the game seems a bit unbalanced right now but if you wait for them to fix the problem maybe there won't be as many top players killing in lower maps. Enjoy

 

moth will kill no matter if u have a bunch of shields u need to be close to an escape or your done and most servers are pretty empty and this is bc of how the game changed and many players don't like it do they stooped playing but most likely went to another server ga1,Mex,Turk and the German server seem full I know ga1 gets full during special events and gets huge during the hitac event when wallet warriors dust off themselves and go out.

 

Right so the idea of this game is to bully the new starters so much that they quit within a week and never come back?

In other words this game is designed to destroy itself....hmmm very odd indeed.

Why on earth would any self respecting game company spend there time creating a game where the idea is to cause people to quit lol makes no sense.

Everyone said too much stuff, but no one told you this: Even if you are strong, you will get shot again. Why? This is an open PvP game, go and check videos on YouTube. The game is designed for you to keep fighting with others without restrictions. Even UFE's get killed by other UFE's.

Now, the UFE's camp lower maps, it is true, but it is not their fault. Why? Most of them have quests like: "Kill 1000 Goliaths". Ok, that is a huge number, isn't it?

What I would suggest you is to not mind being shot, because you will always be shot, no matter what equipment you have. There will be always someone stronger than you.

Try to stay in Leonov if you are in lowers, or if the server is that much crowded on lowers, it would be perfect idea to stay in Vengeance because of the speed. That's how you will die less.

And, of course. If the map is full of enemies, change the map and do quests on other maps. There are upper maps too, find group and go there to hunt. Upper maps are not that crowded with enemies as lowers.

 

Dexter join some clan play in groups ,either with strong players or with players of your lvl...
AND even UFEs(strongest players) also gets killed everyday
after getting killed that many times when u gonna get your 1st pvp kill u will feel like being in heaven wait for that day
