[UI] Speaking our minds

Why can't we have a thread where players can speak their minds about DO/BP without having our thread or comments deleted or changed? It's only because of the players that anyone at BP/DO have jobs to start with. What are you so afraid of?

On the other hand, the voice of the community can grow so much that no one will be able to control it. Maybe they can edit/delete/censure comments here, but for sure they can't edit/delete/censure comments on forums for games, where people share their experience. Truth to be told, most companies fear from the free to play players. Why? Let's see:

• Pay to win players have maxed out everything from start (not only here, in every other game), so they can not experience the reality;
• Reality? Yes, the reality hurts. Let's consider DO here. Pay to win players never experienced how it looks like to be shot 20 times in a row, not being able to play on ANY map. They have never experienced how it is to be happy that you are logging into the game after long day of work, to do some quests or shoot some NPC's - and then, UFE's are there that won't let you move from ports and harass you every time you make a step;
• Because of the reasons stated above (and many more, you name it), no one can stop the voice of the free to play players. Those who are pay to win will say: "game perfect, balanced and everything.." - but they are not aware that they have completed 80% of their PvP quests by shooting level 5 player on maps;
• So far from my experience, pay to win players rarely give any feedback for a game. Free to play players are the loudest, just because they look at the game from different aspect than pay to win players.

I would like to say couple of things:

• NEVER fear of saying what you want to say (but, watch the language.. Keep it constructive with no abuse..);
• If someone censored your post, that means that you told the reality and someone got hurt because of that ;
  
• If someone DECIDED to edit/delete/censor your post because of the reality you have told, that means that those people don't deserve your attention.

I have been playing lots of games in my life (always for fun, not for competition). Some of them have censored the reality I have told, and I never looked back. You should do the same. Never look back after someone censors you for saying the reality. Always respect your self, and always respect your opinions. Never underestimate the spirit in your self!

PS. Sorry that I have said too much stuff, your post inspired me to share some life experience with all of you.

 

simple fact one person flames DO/BP then the next and so on. Well you got alot of views now mostly all negative and from what ive seen most of the speak your mind threads the player is wrong, confused or is thinking along the lines of bend the game to my will. Not all of them but alot.

now here is why, you get a newer player searching the forums for info on the game and they stumble across the thread the gop in start reading seeing all the problems with the game and how support sucks mods suck the game sucks ect..... This in al is not a bad thing everyone should know the crappiest part of the game. Now when you add the stupid posts that are no where near true but this person will argue it up and down. the new player with limited experience wont be able to see through the bull and hunt the truth in a thread thats set aside for flaming.

so as it would be great to vent idiots ruin everything also what if im to vent about the low gate exploit its something thats been fixed for awhile now but a noob runs across it sees it now is accusing every UFE of exploiting the low gate or battle ray farming as do should be trying to bring the community together something as old as this can still hurt the game.

We have numerous threads, notably in the feedback area if any are an example, where people have given their opinions on things with DO, BP, state of the game, updates, etc. I'd beg to differ in that we're hardly sheltering "the truth" about how the community feels about things.

The main reason threads or posts get edited, deleted or closed in that vein of things is simply the violate the rules; most commonly that's the result of flaming, offensive, spam, duplicate thread/issues, off topic, or simply a rant.

That said, if you want to know why something was changed, edited or removed you are free to query in the chat section of forums or to contact support.

As this isn't an update/idea I'm going to go ahead and close this as well.
