  1. So, as we all know, once you get past a certain level, your rewards on x-1 start to drop.

Well, is it time to expand that to the other maps as well?

Consider, as a player goes up in level, they will have to move the maps. this means the lower maps will be freer (but never totally free) of high level players. This will give the lower level players some breathing space, a chance to build with out being forced into pvp with high level players they have no chance against.

The exception to that of course being quests that direct you to pop a npc, or player on a lower map.

    What do you think?

  2. I'm actually liking this idea; surprised that no others have posted about it (none that I've seen at least).
    • Player kills automatically diminish towards zero as level increases. Kills made will not count towards quest(s) or ranking once rewards are no longer received.
-Forces players to NOT hunt in those maps. However, it does sound too strict. Maybe a way that if a player found is a certain level, it will count towards it? But then, it'll be a guessing game, PvPers would just shoot everyone.

And we should just get rid of any quests that forces you to kill on lower maps honestly.

  3. Yeah, you're right about the quests. Perhaps a better type of quest is one that says kill a player on a particular map. The map being decided by your lvl. How that would be programmed, I don't know, but it would make people work up, not down.

Mmm, I don't know. Sometimes I like to go to x-3 or x-4 and just shoot mordons and stuff when I'm bored. Wouldn't like to not get uri for those, you know?

  5. I get that, so perhaps it should be set to effect only when you're on another companies maps. After all, my original point was about hi lvl players one shoting low lvl players on the lower maps.

That would make a ton of sense. Let's me be able to hang out in my own lower maps and kill any aliens I see fit and gives new players a chance to actually progress and learn basic game mechanics before being subjected to being hunted in higher maps.

  7. Well, so far at least it seems as if its all positive for this idea. The problem is of course, the devs likely never bother listening to what we players want, so it will likely never happen.

Aren't there only like one or two developers?

  9. As are as I'm aware, yes. Part of the larger group of devs at big point working on all their various games. And frankly, they're so over worked, trying to fix all the bugs, build the downloadable client, and then port over to the unity engine. It will be a LONG<LONG time before they have the chance to do any of our user suggestions.

  10. At one point people cried over diminishing rewards. I just couldn't play enough in any day to see that system take affect. But supposedly it gradually reduced uri gain and what not from npcs.... Which I guess isn't working as I'm always seeing zombies.

Most hunters target any red dot just for the sake of kills. Would be better if we didnt have pvp quest for specific ships as only certain maps would have bigboys and other hardly flown ships.

  11. Why get rid of quests that are for lower level players? There are not enough quests as it is.

  12. Quests that require PLAYER KILLS on lower maps, my apologies. Not NPC quests.

  13. The pvp quests for enemy kills in lowers are low level quests.

  14. Exactly, get rid of those low level PVP quests. Low level, lowly equipped players should not waste their time in PvPing.
