Should you wait for double Galaxy gate rewards to do Galaxy gates?

Title question. Or should you keep doing them even without this event?

 

The doubler comes along on a regular basis, its not really an event. Most weekends I think, but it changes which gates all the time.

So the question is, do you want to wait for a particular gate to be doubled? The choice is yours, depending on the gate, some times its worth waiting, others it isn't. Just check the normal reward and see what you think.

 

I thought the event was every Sunday, but it seems it isn't like that. Is there a way to know when the next one will come?

 

To the best of my knowledge the gates that qualify for doubling are in FAQS and they are all doubled . (i.e. Zeta , Delta ,Kappa and a couple of others . The doubling is not random . However , Uridium and X4 ammo are not included. Only items like booty keys , exp. , honor are doubled.

But , the short answer would be , YES . Unless I want the Seprom on the GG bonus days I wait until Sunday .
I have seen some Sunday's when they were not doubled but I don't know why .

 

Which is the best Gate for Uridium?

I rarely play Gamma because of the amt. of time it takes me to finish it with out wasting good ammo. Only when I need Kronos parts do I play it.
The second best GG for URI is Delta @ 45k . Which in my opinion strikes a better balance between time and resources spent , and rewards received.
