Just like Artemis last year, they are meant to be an alternative for one of the rare drone designs. It will be very useful for non-bot players as an alternative for Cerberus or Hermes, because 99% of the players (those that use bots) already have these drones. And this new drone is more similar to Hermes than to Cerberus btw. With cooldown boosters, you get -58% cooldown on Orcus' ability which is equivalent to 3:47 instead of 4:30 without the drone, so it's great, again, for fair players.

 

If it's like Artemis, it'll be impossible for normal players to get. I didn't get a single drone in over 100 keys last year. Cerberus is much easier to get because ABG gates cost almost nothing to make, and Hermes just requires lots and lots of uri to get. Both are much easier than Artemis.

That's just simply not true lol , they will drop under the same chances, the same way as Cerberus, and will be just as hard/easy to obtain. also, most people have triske rocket launcher and the cooldown is capped at 75% ( double boosters plus rocket launcher ) so this will honestly be useless for most since if you are a noob, you wont be focusing on these and shouldn't focus on these. Hermes are harder to get btw.

 

I mean this is a good drone if you don't have Hermes and need cooldown for some reason. It has similar status to the Hermes but you don't need to do dozens of Deltas to get Archeron in the same way you need for the Hermes at the moment. That's why I highlighted how useful is the Archeron if you don't have time, just like a normal player.

We still don't have an alternative like that for Cerberus. Currently you have 2.16% probability of getting a Cerberus by collecting Empyrian boxes (1 every ~47 keys or ~23 ABGs), based on the numbers of the last Empyrian March, which are: 24% probability of getting a common package and 9% chance on that package to get a Cerberus. So if you want to become full Cerberus, you have to currently do 232 ABGs, which is equivalent to ~232k extra energies or ~3.5 million palladium for comparison, and you can just buy premium and rebate of course, but you still have to do 232 ABGs manually if you are a fair player (just imagine doing 116 hours of galaxy gates or 5 full days of ABG by hand, this is boring as hell). While, with this event, as long as you have a fast ship, you are able to become full Archeron without needing to do 232 ABGs manually and without premium + rebate combination (just bonus box doubler is enough). And you don't need to do Galaxy Gates for the Archeron, so yeah, Archeron is much easier to obtain if you compare it to the Cerberus and Hermes, specially Hermes.

Also, this drone is great for non-UFE players, specially those who are not full Havoc yet, because you get 1% PvE damage per drone + 8% cooldown which is a bonus and you can get Artemis which is a better Havoc as well. And if you are noob, you should do this event to at least get modules and other resources, thus it's a win-win situation for fair players and for new players, or for players that need/want an alternative for Hermes, I'm not thinking on the usefulness for UFE players only!

Deep Space Echoes

Greetings, Space Pilot! Have you heard the news? A new gateway to the uncharted regions has just been uncovered! Join your fellow hotshots on the other side, master new challenges and upgrade your ship with some of those revolutionary Quantum Fluid Cores everyone's talkin' about...

Pilots must reach level 15 before they can enter the Deep Space Echo from the X-1 maps with a travel permit! Lead your powerful ships and crush the alien conspiracy. Defeat the enemies to win exclusive loot boxes: the deeper you go into the galaxy, the greater chance of obtaining high-tier gear.

Each level you conquer rewards you with basic gears. Every fifth level you reach ends with a boss fight. The treasure chests only drop after defeating the boss, and the quality of rewards are related to the level you have reached (the higher the better).

Mechanics:
Start with 5 equipped ships, select one ship to battle before each level.
If a chosen ship is destroyed, it cannot be used for the rest of the levels in the gate.
Once all 5 ships are crushed, the challenge will end and reset to level 1.

Rewards:
To unlock the treasure chests, corresponding keys are required.
Quantum Fluid Core and Luminaflux Alloy might drop from the chests.

Seasonal Rankings:
The ranking will be based on the highest level reached.
All participated players will be granted with rewards, and only the top ranked players will receive exclusive ones.

Most people haven't even gotten the new lasers, now there are more new lasers? The damage is ever-increasing, but not the ship's ability to withstand it. What are they thinking?

- What in the world is their reasoning or thought process? It won't help the noobs get away because they won't be getting those lasers anytime soon, and the people that are already monopolizing the servers will just get more of an advantage.

 

Base LF-5 might be about as strong as special LF-4s (which are easy to get from green booty boxes). Newbies have another option for temp laser upgrades.

LF-5 Anchorlock is different. We don't know damage yet, but I doubt it'll be stronger than Oddy, and it definitely won't be good for BL aliens like proms. Hardly anything to complain about from my perspective. Waiting for more info on it.

...at least these are craftable. 1 battlepass a year gives an Oddy laser.

 

craftable but it's not like the resources for it will be easy to obtain lmao, and yeah one of them is like the magma, the other just makes pvp even more unfair for noobs.
