Since yesterday's sync, the game has become extremely slow to load. Logging in takes much longer than before, switching maps is delayed, and many actions have noticeable lag.
At the moment, the game is largely unplayable because of these performance issues. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem, or is there any official information about a fix?
I hope the team is aware of this issue and that it can be resolved as soon as possible.

  2. Hi. I already reported the issue and sent photos and videos, but they just don't give a damn. Support asked me to list my specs, internet details, and so on, which I did. For me, the health and shield bars disappear—my own ship's, NPCs', enemies', and other players'—and I can only see them again if I quit and restart the client (assuming it lets me back in). Yesterday I downloaded and reinstalled Unity; it took t 3 hours just to download. The mini-client stutters, too. If I enter the New Gate, Trinity, or Plutus, the image freezes and the client crashes; in the best-case scenario, it takes 1–2 minutes to load. If I jump somewhere using a Perfect Jump, it freezes again—the image stops and the client crashes. Of course, the topic where we reported the bug has been locked.

I don't know what's going on; the lasers are slow to fire. Yesterday I lost all my lives in the event GG, and today it's exactly the same—it's only working well for the rank boosters.

  5. i have a 1gig download speed and the game was faster on a dial up modem,,, [REMOVED]..........

I have to ask a serious question: what is the actual purpose of these forums?
Every time players report major issues, we get little to no response from moderators or the development team. The only thing that seems to happen consistently is that posts get edited, moved, or locked. Meanwhile, the problems remain unresolved.
This isn't just happening on the English forum. I've noticed the exact same pattern across several DarkOrbit forums. Players spend their time writing detailed bug reports, providing screenshots and videos, yet we rarely receive any meaningful feedback or updates.
If nobody is going to acknowledge these reports or communicate with the community, then what is the purpose of having official forums?
At this point, it would probably be better to invest the money spent maintaining these forums into improving the game's performance and fixing the technical issues that have been affecting the game for months. Right now, after the latest sync, many players can barely play because of the loading times and constant lag.
We are not asking for miracles. We are simply asking for communication and for someone to let us know that our reports are being taken seriously.
Silence creates frustration. Even a brief response such as "the team is aware of the issue and is investigating" would be far better than complete silence. Right now, many players feel like they are talking to a wall.

  8. I can confirm that after the latest update, Dark Orbit has become unplayable. It's slow to load the start button, it's slow to change maps, it's slow when you have to open the ski lab, the shop, or the hangar... in short, it's slow in everything (both in Flash and Unity). Furthermore, with new weapons like the IgniDrive Apex, when you shoot them, a vortex appears and both my ship and the aliens disappear. As usual, adding new weapons and gadgets without first fixing all the decades-old problems in the game is making me lose interest in playing.
