unity update download interuption - WHY?

ok i have asked this in a previous post but got no real anawer.

WHY DOES THE UNITY UPDATE DONLOAD INTERUPT AND STOP EVERY 2 MINUTES?

is it my computer or something with the unity download client?

as i noted in other threads, i just got the 1.1.10 downloaded after 2 weeks (because i'm not going to sit here for hours restarting it every 2 minutes) and now thjere's another one. what the heck?

if there is a quicker way to download, please someone let me know.

i'm assuming it's this messed up for everyone and DO don't care

So far I have been unable to use the *new* client at all.
I need to mount the items but cant as they are not in the flash client that works after long long wait.
Perhaps they can fix their dns and if they lock outside app connections things would get better.

so as of this post, i'm just over halfway with the latest download.

when is the next update going to be? i'd like to now if it will be worth it to complete this one before the next one

i'm not sitting here all day restarting the download so i don't know when this one will be complete. at this rate i may not ever be able to play on the unity client again

 

so the download finally completed.

unfortunately when i start the unity client it lets me log in, goes to start thr start screeen, a little darkorbit box flashes up with what looks like a download bar at about 30 % then it all goes away.

basically unable to start playing this latest unity update.

what the heck is the problem? hours of my time to download and the dang thing won't even start

i think someone noted in another post - fix the flash version - it seems to be the only playable version. unity is broken.

i suppose you'll need to do another update ti fix this last one so i'll be be another week to get it downloades only to hope that i can even start it

 

The download process took me 2.5 hours of continuous time. It was more than boooring to start up again, again, again, but there it is.
Hardly believe that i do it again anytime soon. Next time i'll play flash until download works as it should on unity update..
That " DarkOrbit support contact form " is more like.. Can u possible waste ur time any better?.... And yes u can, try to download one freeking update to darkOrbit unity... Unity was supposed to be an easy, fast, and balanced version compared to the old one. Guess what...the buggiest of all time, They send updates info where saying they’ve fixed this, that, and a bit of the other thing too. But weirdly those fixed bug experience the resurrection, and here we are back at square one.

if you take flash away DO is truly dead
