    New Ship: Goliath-X

    A new ship is being introduced – the Goliath-X

    All players logging in on the 11th of December will receive the Goliath-X automatically on login. Also the Goliath-X will be included in the Obsidian Booty Boxes from that day.

    Ship stats

    Skill “Frozen Claw”

    When using the Frozen Claw skill, your target is frozen (“rooted”) for 2 seconds.
    • Range: 700 units
    • Cooldown: 90 seconds
    • Effect: The Goliath-X [Freeze Ray] emits a continuous stream of white [ICE]. Freezing the target in place for 2 seconds.
    • This can be interrupted or prevented by using EMP, the Citadel’s Travel Mode ability or the Lightning’s AfterBurner ability. JAM-X has no effect on it​

    Demaner Freighter Hunt – Reloaded

    Stronger and harder to kill than ever before, the Demaners are making a comeback this winter (19th – 20th of December)

    To make hunting them more rewarding and give a wider range of players the chance to profit, depending on the damage caused to the freighter, you have the chance to receive different loot boxes.

    Every player attacking the Demaner and dealing damage within 3 minutes before the freighter is destroyed will receive a portion of the basic reward.

    • Credits: 12,000,000
    • XP: 3,000,000
    • Honor: 30,000
    • Ranking Point: 1,200​

    Also you will receive one of four loot boxes depending on the amount of damage you caused to the freighter. These boxes will only be visible to the player (no loot stealing).

    Demaner Freighter Stats
    • HP: 20,000,000
    • Shield: 180,000,000
    • Shield Spread: For each player within a radius of 700 server units, the freighter’s shield strength is decreased by 3.33%. This means with 30 players around, the shield has no effect.
    • Speed: 120
    • Laser Damage: 15,000
    • Rockets: DCR-250 (every 5 Seconds, random player ship target)
    • NPC has a De-Cloaking zone around it that has the size of its attack radius​

    Drop Rewards

    When the Demaner Freighter is destroyed, it will drop a box for every player individually that dealt at least 1 damage to it in the past 180 seconds.

    These boxes can only be seen and collected by each individual player, they cannot be stolen.
    There are 4 different boxes that can be dropped for each player. Whichever spawns is based on the total damage that the player did to this Demaner Freighter.

    They differ in look based on their rarity.

    Drop Chance Variation

    The drop chance for the better boxes increases the more damage you deal. With 1 point damage dealt within the last 180 seconds before the freighter is destroyed you are eligible to receive a “Box 1”. If you do 499,999 points of damage you have a (roughly) 99% chance to receive a “Box2”.

    Here are the thresholds:
