    What's the point in the 48 hour name change delay for pilot names and clan details?

    Cause other people might change their name, and in some cases, they would want the same names and you can't have duplicates.

    It used to be such that you could change your name whenever you wanted to. Without a time limit/cool down. But later on, they found that people were abusing it. People would take offensive names to kill certain people, mock others etc,. and change names again. That way they would get away from the mods eyes (I think?)
    Probably that would be the reason why that was changed. Idk.    ​

    Pilot name change after 48hrs was introduced in order to control user's who used to change their names frequently and misuse it.
