5.3 Palladium Area Bugged

Hello,
Today while farming Palladium I noticed that I'm taking damage of around 25-50k every 10 seconds. Not only my ship, pet was also taking damage. This bug is in the blue area where palladium spawns also, in the surrounding blue area.
I took a screen shot in which I took damage when no enemy is around me. When I left 5-3 I was not taking any damage. When I logged in after couple of hours & went to 5-3 the same thing started again.

Kindly fix this because I can't farm palladium, if any alien ship starts hitting me It is hard for me to survive since 50k damage along with alien ship damage ticks in & I'm not strong enough to resist that.

Edit: I just noticed, ships flying next to me also takes damage & their pets too. It feels like there is a mine placed in my ship which automatically triggers similar to ones in pirate areas.

it looks like u have a alien that you can not see. it happen to me too. goto a port and relog. it will clr it up.

 

ewww the invisible barracuda, if you can fly to a port and activate kami then get off port it should kami/kill the barracuda. or just port and relog like Jonny said.

 

Please read my post carefully before posting, when I relogged after 2 hours & went to 5-3 the problem started again. How barracuda hitting me 25- 52k ?

 

yeah it's baracuda, use kamikaze to kill it.
long time ago i had same problem on 5-2, just i was killing all npcs with kami and later that day i log in to kill more npcs and 1 baracuda was still there attacking me haha. that usually happens when you don't finish baracuda and run from it.

 

Yes, It's and invisable barracuda. It's been reported more times than anyone can count and YES DO knows about it and has failed to fix/address this problem for months.........It happens in all pirate maps Randomly. For me, I find it seems to come when some noob drags their barracuda back and forth through the port to kill it and somehow once it's dead it stays popping invisible. It's a game drag.

If you don't believe its possible use your pets enemy finder clicked on barracuda when you notice this happening and see where this thing is. Good luck kami the portals !!!

 

Average damage of barracuda is 4.5k to 6k & I'm taking 50k damage. Lets say you guys are correct for the sake of argument, I don't have kamikaze nor It is anywhere near in my priority list, also it requires a lot of uridium. If barracuda is the case then either developers provide kamikaze so that I can fix this or they should kill it themselves.

 

Thank you all for assisting this player with their issue. This matter has been pasted on previously for further testing and we do apologize that you are still experiencing this issue. Unfortunately at this time we do not have an estimated time frame as to when this matter will be resolved.

The suggestion the other players have made does work, however if you do not have a PET... then that work-around will not help you. As I am fairly certain support is not going to provide a PET and Kami. I might suggest that you utilize the other maps to make uridium for the gate spins. You can kill a Kristallon with better rewards than strickly picking up pally for gate spins.

Farming Kristallon is great to gain credits but it is not even close to better rewards then farming 5-3

 

This is very disappointing! I'm amazed that support is not willing to compensate due to serious problem or willing to provide a small power up which could fix the problem. Using uridium as an alternative to palladium for galaxy gate spins is very unreasonable. As mentioned in above post uridium has no match of palladium & since there is no time frame provided of fixation to such problems I cannot compete to other players' momentum of farming.
Being an old player of Darkorbit again, is it very disappointing to hear such reply from Darkorbit.

 

Please tell me is there any chance of RADAR CPU to work in the near future ? I'm not taking any damage on 5-3 anymore.

As far as we are aware, I have tested the Radar CPU and it is functioning as intended.

I would also like to thank you for bringing the link with the faulty images to our attention, we will work to resolve this as it is a post that was moved over from the old forums and the original creator of the thread has removed the images.
