a bad name?

i just changed my name to Moderator as a joke and now my own company is killing me on sight saying im breaking rules is this really a rule?

 

Its against game rules to change your name to anything that relates to staff. That includes Clan names and PET.

• CM
• FM
• SMOD
• GM
• Moderator
• TeamTestShip

ETC or to the name of any current staff member.

All not allowed to be usernames.


Plus, changing your name to something like this will make you a target ingame as people want to kill "Admins"

 

yeah i had no idea i did it because i was bored and yeah ive found that out. could a MOD change it for me?

 

I would stay off chat. You can get banned for impersonating a Staff member

As already stated in the thread, having a pilot-name that impersonates a moderator is not tolerated and this is mainly down to the security of the players.

We are unable to change names since there is still a 48 hour cool down period before the name can be changed again. Therefore the fastest route to get this issue dealt with would be to contact support as already suggested by MethicSkull.
