Above the Law

I know this thread will be deleted/closed soon. But I still wanna post what I think.

As the title suggests, playing DO for some time now made me come in to the conclusion that some people are above the Laws. They can do whatever they want without the fear of getting banned or punished. Yeah, right.

Note: I mean no offense to any Turkish player what so ever. This is not a ranting about cheats. This is just to bring the intensity of this issue.

As we all know that Turkish servers and players receive special treatment. They get new exclusive items, events and a lot more things that others doesn't. As they're the biggest nationality playing this server. Sure, BP and game developers need to take care of them and sometimes more than others.
No offense to legit Turkish Players

Honestly, I know about it all and it doesn't really matter to me about the special treatment given to them. Its fine with them, they're the biggest nationality and BP gets a lot of revenue from them. So to maintain and increase the business, they must take care of them more than others. It is all understandable and there is no problem with it at all. Sure we the other players may get somethings later or some don't. It is still tolerable and fine.

But this situation gets worse and unbearable when some players gets special treatment as Above the Law. They can use whatever cheats, bugs they can and still get away with it at no cost.

Recently I (and most of the server) have war with some of the Turkish clans. Whenever I fight with them I'm too annoyed to see them switching their HP with Shields. It happens all the time whenever I fight with them. When left with low hp, they just switch it with their shields.

The EMP doesn't work on them. They get your lock right after you use emp (yes I know this doesn't mean they always using cheat) and sometimes you keep getting hit even after using emp.

I can see them botting in x-2 maps all the time. But I never see any of them getting punished for it. (Yeah, yea I know the scripts are running to catch them and honestly speaking, I do believe it but the fact is they won't be banned despite being caught)

Recently in the event Parasite Tide, top 10 players are from Turkish clan and all of them reached their by pushing. They made so much points in the first few days of the event that none of the server could come even closer to it now at the end of it.

I remember the OA of new anti pushing measures and also punishing the guilty players. But I never saw any of them getting ban (How do I know? I see them playing everyday). Nor did they remove their points gained from pushing. [ This makes me even more mad. Alright you can't ban all of them. Atleast remove their points!!]

Sometimes their speed remain same even after being infected.

So, my point is why is that Turkish players are not accountable of the Rules and Laws which other players are? Why is that other players would receive a ban as soon as they use any serious cheat in the game but Turkish players won't?

This is a real and serious issue, they don't get any bans. I see them playing everyday and using the same cheats for months and in every single fight I have with them.

If you care so much of them then don't ban them in Turkish servers but do in other servers, rest of the players are suffering cause of their cheats and special treatment.

The administration really need to look over their policies and start caring about the other players because even though Turkish players are the biggest nationality, BP earns much more than others (rest of the world).
Making happy just one nation and unhappy to the rest of the world will cost them more.

 

They're not getting banned for botting because they are not getting caught. Unfortunately bots are slowly creeping back into the game and the banning process does not take into account which nationality a user belongs too, just the bots are getting better at not being caught.

Turkish servers do get a higher quality of DarkOrbit however the users are not exempt from being caught and banned. As far as the pushing problem goes, my best advice would be to record them doing it and send it to support.
Plenty of Turkish users have been banned lately on GE1 for pushing, especially in the Parasite Tide event - however equality plenty of people with other nationalities have been banned as well, there is no selection process based on which country a user is from.

there was a thread for comments on pushing in the 'ParasiteTideEvent' following the May Dev. Blog... Events are becoming a big problem for the 'general player' , if there is such a thing as a normal player any more!?...

I have seen them (bots) too... it is sadly only an accumulation of the ppl who just want a name on their server ( with or without honour )
and think that cheating makes them a good player (cos they have a big one.. Ship I mean)!!
Many these ships are not the main ship!! But the IP will be the same I guess .. or maybe ... anyway I digress..
We are all suffering from these cheats... and .Wagon. I think we all would like to see them growing billions of impossibly large Parsnips on Farmarama... do they think that ship kills from a name/ship generated from cheating (such as botting or any form of Hack) is better ??
Cheating is something that some will be proud of...
But in reality we can all cheat at 'Patience' (cardgame) and get away with it...

getting two (impossibly large Parsnips of course)... would help me respect them!!

 

What server is this happening on? Also, although you posted you are fine with what happens on the Turkish server, you put a lot of emphasis on the going ones there, so I can tell you are not fine with it. If you go play that server, you will find that the most common word that you will see and understand is "BAN." I see it all the time in chat. That said, there are probably lots of account bans there. With such a concentration of gaming promotions, there has to be a concentration of controls as well. That said, when DO figures out how to fix the issues in the game, they will figure out how to catch all cheaters as well. Unfortunately, even with the script, they can't catch them all as fast as we would like.
