Access to Unity server

  1. Tried to log into the Unity server and was greeted by this message:

    Blocked
    Sorry, your request is a suscipious threat to the website and blocked by the defense system.
    Please contact the system administrator to whitelist your access if it is a false positive.
    Your request id is
    :

    This happened twice and both times it did give a generated ID (different each time).

    I was able to log to my non-Unity server with no problem.
    Questions arise as to...
    1 - Was this due to some hack that was performed on your server?
    2 - What system administrator to contact ?
    3 - How do I contact above system admin ?
    (because outside of the 'Blocked' notification text there is no way to contact any part of the system)
    4 - Is the one week trial over as of today (Thursday, August 01, 2024) ?

    5 - If needed, where do I send either of the two ID codes that have been sent to me ?

  3. Well, I did have that impulse, but, when the error screen came up, the only option that worked was to quit out of the entire mess. The white screen with some text needs to have options, not just another screen related to microsoft's blue screen of death. When I read system administrator, I am not sure if it was DO's sys admin, microsoft's sys admin, some other 3rd party....

    ...As a follow up to you, I did log into DarkOrbit by the older way (non-Unity). I did put a trouble ticket in and as of this moment, it is in the queue.

    that's why i told you, when you said you had issues i went for a login in unity test and got just fine, something is not right and only support can help.
     
  5. Trouble ticket reply said basically, too much info.
    ( It did say that I reported this while logged in - on the older system - and that the login and email had been verified.
    Use discord or some other thing.

    Looks more like a run-a-round to avoid an issue.

    This thread might as well close as I doubt that the situation can or will be resolved.
    Why it worked for 3 days then was listed as no good, is a good a guess as anyone can offer.

  7. Although yesterday (August 18, 2024) I was able to log into the Unity server; today is a different problem. Once you select the ship icon to log in, what appears to be the login screen starting up, immediately adds the message box that you are disconnected and it does give the choice to logout or re-connect.
    Reconnect just starts the never-ending cycle of trying to re-connect.

    I did breakdown and start up a 'discord' account to see about a bug entry or anything else that may be of help; however, discord is another set of trouble tickets that are need just to try and go through spaghetti loops to find where unity is. So I deleted the useless account.
     
  8. The regular DO log in appears to be working with only a slight lag issue.
    However, Unity-BETA is acting up again.
    It did seem to work (not too badly) for 2 days; however, today (August 22, 2024) log in has reverted to the blocked access again. The non-beta does appear to be working, but with some weird lag 'waves?' .

    I got that message also when I tried to log in a few times when there was no room and I used the wrong info one time. I guess you have to use the exact name of your ship on this game to log into unity game.

    i have tried twice to download the unity server but i get the same message everytime i try to enter, telling me i need to download the program. i can't reach support, my support page hasn't worked for years. To be honest i believe i lost it after the last downleaded client.
     
  11. Tried this afternoon, the problem has shifted again. Now, once the login has been done, I am getting the almost never ending 'Establishing Connection' .
    Eventually this does stop.
    Multiple attempts with same no connection.

    did you ever get in? i still can't get the download to take, i have installed and removed 3 times and get the same results, you must download the program to enter.or something like that. Sure makes ya feell real good about being moved into something thats not working now.
     
  14. In discord they said the test phase is over and they are fixing the bugs, I do not know if you cannot log in anymore due to this message. Testing is over.

    i gave up after the 3rd try. if the bugs are that bad just trying to get in. i worry about the merger.
     
  16. they even said in the faq that after testing the servers for unity will be shut down and all data will be deleted. you missed the testing phase, wait till maybe they release it again or when the final version is released

    only missed it do the many bugs that came with the download. Seems to me the main thing would be making sure players could get in.
     
  18. Yes, I had gotten in. Actually on several different days. It seemed intermittent when it came to logging in. A few days of no go, followed by a day or two where there was access. The game itself did not seem too bad, it was a BETA after all.
