    It would not make Aegis a single bit stronger, only little more tactical.
    Actually in some situations it may weaken Aegis because if you choose to use shield beacon, enemy can still penetrate it with Formation.    ​

    Indeed, even I got screwed by spearheads. Destroy them quick when you can still see them or they escape.

    I suppose the idea isn't terrible then but I can't get past the fact that it would have four repair abilities, why not I guess lol.
