Alpha Gate Help

First time in Alpha Gate. Do you need Kami gear on PET to kill the 30 Protogits? Will level 2 benefit you or is level 3 necessary first? Any other tips would be helpful. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

 

You don't need it, it just makes life easier. If you don't have a lv8 pet I would not buy the kamikaze until you can get lv3.

Since it is your first time my advise would be do the prot wave with 2 speed configs, it will take time but just to be on the safe side. Let them run to corners and once they are all in the corner repair your ship and go an destroy them.
If you have an aegis use that.

 

Kamikaze is not necessary, protegits wave is relatively simple, you only need to have quick confs. Having lasers and rockets upgraded with Seprom are also good. And best benefit is from lv3 kamikaze, because it has bigger range and damage.

 

OK, so you are saying that if I run around, they will eventually go to the corners? After that they can be picked off from there? Will the other Aliens (Kristallons) do the same thing? Also what do you consider 2 speed configurations. Sorry for such a basic question.

 

A Goliath with 11 and 11 is not a speed configuration I take it.

 

mongoose, yes, they will all wait you in corners with HP you leave them when they had started run to corners. But they'll have full shields.. Also be careful about distance from them, they can make a serious damage together.

 

So Colek, would 15 / 7 be a good speed configuration?

 

mongoose I think it's OK, even only 10 might be enough (with goli). But don't forget to upgrade them with promerium, it will increase your speed for 30%.

Colek, tried what you said on the Devolarium wave and they did not go to a corner. I was able to beat them anyway. I ran circles around them and all they did was chase me. Anyway the 80 Kristallins are next. How do you get them to go to a corner?

 

Shoot one at a time. When it's almost dead it will go to a corner. Lock a new one and repeat. Keep moving!

Just the shields, hp stays down though. Once they're all in the corners you can fly close enough to hit them without them hitting you. Prots however can still hit you so be aware and pull off them to rep as needed. Kill all the big stuff as they run from you, BK's Devs and Sibs. Don't set them in the corners.

 

Got that. Did that to the Devs and they went down fairly easy. Killed one, repaired, went for another. Just one at a time. Thanks again sir. I am sure I will have more questions if you don't mind. But for now I am going after the Kristallins.

 

See I am 3,763,000 from Level 15 and I am 694,000 away from Level 8 on the PET. And I am not strong enough to get the final 3 missions on my own. I needed 3 boss Sibs, 3 boss Lordikums and 3 Uber Devs for 6,000,000. I have been trying to get help but can't find anyone so I thought up this route. I won't quite get there for the Pet, but thought I could get experience booster after the gate, and try with the level 4 ammo.

 

Where there's a will there's a way as my mom always told me....

 

Well I made it back. Took a while but I got here. Compared to that everything before that was a breeze. Now I am worried about the Sibelonits. I assume the same advice holds there. Thanks again guys I could not have made it here without your help. I guess if there is no further advice they may close the thread.
