Ammo Cap

I would love to know how everyone feels about this. I am tired of getting my butt handed to me because I am forbidden to purchased ammo because I am over whatever cap is set by god knows who. Now I know that it must be because DO wants to keep the game fair..but what is fair about me having to fight someone with 5 million RSB'S???? How did they get 5 million???How about 4 million 3x?? I have heard the excuses that they had the ammo before the cap..lmao.. Trust me they didn't. Matter of fact they purchased ammo last night during mega. Fair?? Nope. Probably because these people spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars a month on the game so DO let's them do what they want. Do I have proof... sure do and the players will back me up. Totally unfair treatment by DO. Anyone as tired of the fraud and unfairness as I am?? I will probably get banned from here but at least I am honest.More than I can say about Dark Orbit.

 

Jass, you feel the same as a lot of players. To clarify what is happening, here is my experience. Your ship has a standard cap of what it can hold. The ammo cap was put in place to limit how much ammo you could box. That said, you can still purchase all the RSB and other special items your wallet can handle. You are also able to save all the ammo you win from galaxy gates spins and gates themselves. I see the results of what I have now told you all the time as I get jumped but I know if I sit for about 5 minutes those sneaky ones will move along and I will be able to continue what I was working on. Trust me, in the beginning I wanted to go strangle some players that popped me all the time but I got over that and 6 servers later, expect my ship to get shredded from time to time.

 

As PSK said, you can buy the Limited Time ammo such as RSB, the ammo cap does not apply to that. Ammo available for purchase 24/7 are limited to the cap, with the exception of Galaxy Gate generated ammo.

The cap has always been there.

 

nope there was a time with no ammo cap... and mods, When will there be no more ammo cap?

 

Yeah, there is no cap on limited time ammo like ; rsb / emps / pld8s / dcrs / I believe the hstorm ammo also.
And yeah it is extremely easy to get millions of x2/x3/x4/sab - event without using money. Ive never spent a penny on the game and I sit on millions of ammo myself. So I would say for someone that does spend or any ufe im sure a mil rsb is nothing for them.

The soon to be removed cap - I appreciate it, now whenever people box instead of the "you can no longer collect laser ammo" you will actually get the laser ammo. The cap if anything has been great actually also - people would have millions - maybe a billion ammo (those bots i mean) if the cap was never there. So be happy it is there, and is soon to be removed since bots were removed.
