Ammunition capacity needs to be lifted for events.

Just like the title sais.
When we have these events and special boxes the ammunition limits should be lifted.
Unlimited ammo capacity through out the event at least.

 

They need to be lifted altogether.

I agree they need to be lifted permanently. Realistically, who has below 1 mil ammo nowadays.

 

The dev team are fully aware of the issues with the Armoury cap, as it was discussed in the old forum.

It is sad that the Armoury cap is ignored in some instances but not in other.

In fact it makes a mockery of the cap. the cap only effect free pick up and space to buy ammo.

But hay it would take no time to fix, but the dev team are to busy changing font. and other pointless visual code.

I would say it is far from hot, as it has been highlighted as a major players issue / desirer for far to long, but I would guess it is anti profit at any cost, so has been ignored.

After all, we eventually ( after so many post being deleted for mentioning bots ) got a bot thread with well over 1/4 mil views and well over 3k post and still it took a long time for any action, which in my opinion was a financial one.

 

It's in no way anti profit, lifting the limits would facilitate users to buy much more ammo. The problem with Bigpoint is they have these forums (speakers corner and update and idea pool) they may as well be called the "Let them rant about stuff and pretend we listen" forums.

You already can buy RSB and Hellstorms and ubers over the limit...That's the part that is the mockery..The only ammo which counts towards the limit is the ammo you try to get for free in the bonus boxes....

SO : ammo with real $ / uridium....buy away !!!!....X2 and X3 from BB's...sorry you cant collect !!!

Its a joke really...that is why we players see it as a "money" decision from up top to not help the players with this LONG talked issue -_- oh well.

 

I find it funny that in all the years that the ammo cap has been in place it was due to the botters taking advantage of boxing before it was put in place, now with the DO anti-bot script that they rave about being able to detect and ban ALL (yeah right) players using such outside programs that the ammo cap is still in place, if it were gone the botters would be detected much faster and we legit players would finally have some peace getting the ammo we need to bash NPCs without using up the premium ammo we need to save to bash players...but of course that is if the anti-bot script was actually effective and not just a way to blow smoke up everyone's rears like DO has been doing all along....

 

Remove the the cap entirely and no newer players can bid on ammo anymore. But you veterans and forum gods don't even consider that, do you?

I remember Rick Deckard mentioning about ammo cap, being removed, as one of their objectives , in one of the podcast videos, in late-ish 2013. He said it will take them 4 months to do this. It's been longer than 4 months.

How much longer must we wait?

 

If they implement this players WILL buy the box doubler and stay out of 5-3. Which DO no likey
