anti noob quest

today's event quest really caters to ufe you think it takes the noobs right out of contention and we wonder why the server is dying. My ship is fe not ufe i've got three kills to several deaths and I know how the game is but someone new just quits

 

"collect 100 Duranium from destroyed ships". If you mean this daily quest good luck, the odds of finding someone with any of that ore is slim to none. Only advise is to poach the lowers, and wait for some noobs to kill stuff and collect cargo. Or if you are strong enough go to the X-7 maps, were semi noobs are usually farming BK's and what not, only one or two kills should do it , if they grabbed the BK cargo.

EDIT : If you mean the event quest "destroy 5 ships in 4-4"....try spaceball tonight, there are always ships that go afk, or you can get help. Remember you don't have to kill someone, only get first lock and survive the fight, let others help you.

 

well its messed up iam kinda uber dit the quest but a level 13 will have a Hard Time not good Do if u need new players Dont do it like this

I don't bother with the dailys, but try it, if npc's work then good, if not, just cancel the quest.

 

ask other small players for 1v1 and the winner has to help with a few bks or something thats what a few people did on my server so if you lose you still get something out of it

 

ask ur company ufe to help ya and dont forget to use some ish/emp and cloak

 

You can do this quests with NPCs...just gotta collect the space debris...which a lot don't do They just blow 'em up and go away

-Fleabird-, You can always go in with a group, or clan mates to assist with kills. With SpaceBall going on it should be a target which environment to help you on your way.

You can do this quest by killing Devos. You do not need to be UFE to kill a Devo and collect the cargo....

 

i get what he is saying new players not even FE yet has no chance of completing a event quest that involves pvp, let alone pvp in battle map during spaceball. Not to bad if you been playing the game for a while and got friends and on way to UFE . That is unless you run into a UFE enemy looking to increase his/her kill count.

Just starting out and trying to participate in an event the game puts out to run into this roadblock would be discouraging to say the least. DO has to make a choice make the game newb friendly and have the population grow or run them off and slowly die out like whats happening now. The established players will complain at first but with all the new meat to butcher later in game they will see it was for the better. If you think on it DO making money they would make much more if 1000 people spent 20 bucks rather then 100 spending 100 bucks and later alot of that thousand would increase there spending if they feel they can survive in the game and have a remote chance at completing event content

The answers above about the duranium quest are off topic. he was referring to the Influence daily quest 5 nme kills in 4-4. This quest ... and some of the other ones in the uppers ... are beyond newer player. Hey great way to motivate the noobs to keep playing....exclude them from some of the quests, rewards and achievements. Ah DO, you are so wise and clueless all at the same time.

 

Todays quest kill 10 vengis and 10 golis? yeah right! Collect now"100 Duranium from destroyed ships" is quite easy mordons give 10 or Durianiun comes from ships in 3x or above and you get a good gift 2 log disks or a booty key I don't remember which for sure. I always do it.
