Apis to substitue a destroyed iris?

So alot of folks have full apis parts even though they already own one. What if you can use it to replace a iris that is destroyed? What I propose is this, if you lose a regular iris, and you have all 45 parts of apis, why not be allowed to use that to create a new apis or iris instead of trying to win iris in auction or buy it for 200k uri? And if you dont have enough apis parts, then the parts you do have can reduce the price of a iris? What are your thoughts?

 

Well the apis is called an apis for a reason and getting another iris via the apis route is too expen$ive. What if you lose your zeus what then is gonna replace your apis

 

No what i am saying is that if you lose an iris somehow and you already own an apis and you have extra parts for it, why not put it to use? So lets say you have your apis drone built, and you have an extra 45 parts (Which is what creates the apis) why not be able to use those extra parts to make another iris instead of spending 220k uri or bidding? If its zeus, then for every extra apis part you have, you can reduce the cost of zeus by some amount. Same thing with iris, if you dont have all parts, lets say you have 10 extra parts, each part that you put towards the purchase of a new iris will reduce the price by a certain amount, each apis part will give you 5k uri towards and iris purchase. But this is only applicable to lost drones, not ones that you never had.

 

Ok yes, I understand, but I have to disagree since you might lose the apis. Knowing DO ways they are going to shift the zeus over.

Also, the iris is not made of parts, so that makes it different. Using parts from apis to reduce the cost of the uri purchase of iris, however is quite novel. If you have a full apis might as well get another iris for no uri because the apis is already had in parts. One must ask how much is each apis part worth in uri and apply that to the iris purchase.

well, I agree with you that the apis if all parts are there, could be made to subsitute the iris. It would be apis 2, but would not have the attributes of apis 1. Meaning it wouldnt have the additional protection from damage. In the end, its up to the player should they choose to use apis parts to purchase a iris. Parts convert to uri, but not so much because then DO wouldnt make money, it would have to be some amount that can be deducted from iris price. If you already have an apis, this is when you can use the extra parts.

 

when your iris pop you usually lose all 8.. i'd rather bid on them in auction for creds and keep a back up apis up my sleeve for later just incase

Next time you go to repair, do them all at once, so you can keep track.

 

Thats fine, im not saying that you have to use the parts. What I am saying is that you should have that choice.

 

Na, there's no need. By the time you get all 8 Irises, you should not have any problems grinding credits, you can get it back in a day or two.

 

Yeah, keep them at same dmg lvl and lose them at once. I check my iris very rarely. Just use my repair CPU to do it for me. That way, when I lose one, I only have to get one back.

Good plan, but I keep a tally. Every time I pop, I mark one down. When it reaches 45, I repair all my drones and start all over again.

 

If you start at all 10 drones at 0% and max them at 101% damage. You still have two drones
