Assembly launched

Greetings, pilots!

The "Assembly“ is the DarkOrbit crafting system allowing you to create items ranging from consumables to rare ships design: as long as you have the right recipes and enough resources, you can be a master artisan too.

Between Monday, 09 May 2016 and Sunday, 29 May 2016, 23:59h LST the Assembly Launch event will give everyone the opportunity to craft cool items like the Pusat or Surgeon designs, Drone designs or even P.E.T.s!

All you need to do is to collect the right amount of resources, open the Assembly window and start the nano-synthesizers. To find out more about “The Assembly” and the Launch Event, check the FAQ on the forums and follow the instructions given in the event missions to guide you through the process.

Spoiler: Update 1

Update: We are aware the launch is a little rocky but the team is hard at work to resolve it.
We do have an existing thread for feedback on the lag issues over >here< and updates to the situation are being maintained there at the moment while it continues.
Thank you for your patience, we are sorry about the inconvenience in the meantime

Update 2: The lag issue should now be fixed! While we'll continue to look into other bugs that have come up, the game itself should more or less be back to normal
The launch event has been extended one week (ending May 29th) and further compensation information will follow!
