Assist Kill Acknowledgement

    I would like to suggest some acknowledgement for assisting other players in a kill. Not a reward but a logbook message or a counting system of some sort indicating it happened. I dislike helping someone chase down an enemy player ship only to watch it pop or disappear, not knowing any information. It would be great to know that I caused a certain amount of damage or just be able to look back and see how many kills I successfully assisted in. Company members are often reluctant to help kill enemy players when they will receive no reward/points. Maybe a simple message in the logbook like "You assisted in destroying space pilot ****". This can also help smaller players, that are not elite, feel they are contributing to the game and not just flying around getting popped.
