Auction.

May be a good idea to limit to how many of the same item may be purchased in a 24 hour period to avoid hoarding and cutting out the average player from using the auction.

 

Thought they did that already but if not yep good idea.

 

Wrong section and it depends on the item, no they didn't do this already.

 

How many of each item and of what items would be consider hoarding? I think that just fixing the auction so it can keep up with the last five min. of the bidding wars. Then auction will work just fine. Some of those bidding are building other ships not all are hoarding. But then again couldn't that be a form of hoarding?

Spending 24 hours winning bids on cloaking device.who needs 24 cloaks in 1 day?? And they are doing it every day lol.

 

some people have been known to try and win items in the auction at minimum bid so they can sell it for a profit. For example buying a slot 4 cpu or even slot cpu at minimum bid so they can resell for a credit profit. It's speculating really hoping for a pay off. This does hurt newbies trying to get equipment in the beginning of the game.

 

Then there are the dumb ones who don't need them but put down 20mil to keep noobs from advancing.

 

When im on for long periods at a time I bid on 50cloak every hour. People who use auction regularly see times when something is cheaper than normal and they bid every our in a "get it while its cheap" style of bidding. but a cap on some items would be good. you got the ufes bidding on bo2's every hour...

 

Are there really UFE's selfish and stupid enough to bid on something they don't need 24/7? Everyone needs cloaks and 24 a day isn't much to some, as for equipment and extra's perhaps a limit is in order to deter would be spam bidding to prevent anyone from winning anything.

 

If your spending 24 hours on this game bidding or playing. Your not a hoarder. You need to get a life go out side breath some fresh air. Hell maybe even go for a walk. Do ya some good clear your mind even. I bid on things like darkwarlock points outs. While I'm on I look for cheap bids. I'm not a cash player so I have to work in the game to get paid. I do save up items like cloaking chips but I may not have the funds down the road. I'm also building save up items for a few ships. so I'm one who would not be happy if they put limits on things.
