backpage constantly updates causing lagg

    Well as titled,

    Right now my browser is updating the back page non stop for what ever reason. Tis not cookies or the other garbage as I cleared them all and my browsing history etc.

    Atm am on the clan info page and not active in game and DO is still running a script when I don't need any more information or data from BP.

    My browser displays teh following message:

    Waiting for eventstream-829-weblog-05.bigpoint.net

    anyone else have a similar issue? Others on clan teamspeak dont have this issue.

    Sometimes happens, it just stalls when accessing the address in question.

    Its not actually transferring anything, its just a little stall which happens due to bigpoint redirecting and networking issues (which are naff I might add).

    The address contains "weblog", so am guessing its way of Bigpoint tracking a users movements, probably to detect bot activity (Skylab and Tech Lab bots) which may be in use.

    The stall am guessing, in theory, is a hiccup in which between you and the log is a glitch and loss of information (packet loss) and the log doesnt recieve it, so it just keeps trying with no luck.

    Is a royal pain in the neck, an that's being polite. Flash player updated too which I am glad for as the scrolling text on the back page had reversed direction which was funny to say the least..

    Sorted now though...
