and without kami? is it even possible?

Edit: i'm interested if any under lvl16 player managed to finish the last wave without kami becuase i'm doing it for 4 hours now, no death but skol is at half hp yet. it's extremelly time consuming and not worth it unless he has very high kill rewards.

    any tips are welcomed.

Just go shoot the skoll and when he puts the target on you run . He will respawn icy's . Don't loose time with them , go again and shoot the skoll . You need the right speed config . After you kill the skoll it remains to kill 100-200 icy's ( and it's a very long time without kamikaze ) .

i did so for 5 hours until i gave up. Skoll was in the bottom corner along with 87 icy's and i had 90 icy's on top corner.
I still had enough icy's after me to do 80k damage per shot which means i had to repair my ship twice to make one icy's move to a corner.
The lag is awfull, if u do this choose night time for it.

To any players without kami not ufe my advice is to do the first 2 waves and then just suicide, the time it takes is better spent on killing any other alien or gate for that matter.

This was the "easy" gate for under lvl16 players, it was not fun.

    Edit:

You do need speed configs i was running with 480 speed and 540, 480 is just slightly faster than icy's.

  6. Kill everything Icy and cold and travel in a straight line away from Skoll. If you not using your skull, you are circling :) You deserve it - there are 20 lives/chances for you to learn your lesson instead of 3 lives. Can be done with x1 and kami x3 for each wave of Icys to make 'em disappear. I dislike the runners to corners, so I pop all the Icys before I go after Skoll next. But, that me. Include the speed config - very important.

  7. Tip for the 3rd wave: To not allow the skoll to spawn little icies, what I did on the 3rd wave (for easy and hard) was pop the 2 ice meteroids. Once those two are out of the way focus on the skoll. Go in hit it preferably with moth - keep shooting it until it stops moving, once it stops you have about 2-3 seconds then after those few seconds run out of its range (out of vision at least I think, but i went about 1/4 to 1/2 the map away or kept running till it moved). Once it starts moving again repeat that. So long as it does not freeze you or even lock you it will NOT spawn icies. If it locks you then it will spawn icies no matter what (im not sure what happens if you shoot it with a Ric3 rocket though, I pondered if it would cancel it spawning them but I doubt it since when a player is frozen they can shoot - so the skoll should be allowed to still spawn icies - I only thought of it I didn't try it myself).

Both gates took me maybe 1-3 hours max with me walking away from my computer occasionally to deal with other things like in between waves, I also left the gate to swap designs. I did the gate in a goliath using the exp and honor designs. I died twice on wave 2 to icies on the hard gate because i moved using the minimap and walked away haha. I also did not use kamikaze, I did however have my pet assist me in popping the skoll - it has 3 lf3s and no protocols to deal more damage.

Total from both gates you get approximately 40k uridium. In my opinion that is worth it.

If you are lucky enough to destroy the SKOLL don't waste any more effort/resources on the ICY. Let them destroy you, recover, jump back in and win your prize. If you do the math the reward in no way, shape, or form reimburses you for the time spent or the resources used to complete the last wave.

Has anyone found a tactic for destroying the SKOLL (HARD) that doesn't require a KAMI?
