  1. Like with the P.E.T.10 protocols, boosters being cash expensive should be able to be conserved if not in total in either/or 1 hour/5 hour/10 hour increments either by transporting them to Skylab for storage or by having a switch in the game play menu. As a package, enhanced ammunition (Prometid, Promerium & Seprom) could also be subject to a transport module upgrade, this would limit the rate of transfer encouraging players to plan their play. Realistically players want to hunt with Seprom & Double Boosters, quest with Promerium single boostered (depends on the player, this is just an example) & gate with Prometid with say just some boosters.

As online games go, DarkOrbit is now extremely expensive & this high level of cash maintenance creates a huge gap between top & bottom end players. Very often developing players only really want boosters to ease through a gate or to make best use of the small amount of Seprom Skylab can produce. Players need a little flexibility just to be able to compete.

I think it would be true to say that DarkOrbit generates most of its non advertising income from the top 100 players on each server, maybe even top 50, these are the ones that have disposable income more so than the hundreds or even thousands of players starting out or slowly developing through free play. There are so many things that need financing in game from ammunition to equipment & building gates its frustrating to have to waste boosters especially shared ones.

  2. I kinda like this idea, i have wanted to try being double boosted but never have had the uri or booster to try it out when ever i get a chance, and a lot of new players would like a booster to ease the pain of doing gates.
