[GI] Booty box question

Hi all,

I know I've asked some stupid questions before, so here's another one.

Does location have any influence on the value of booty boxes? I know the different colours do, some more valuable than others, but how about location? Is a green box more valuable on x-5 to x-8 than on x-1 to x-4? Is that just my imagination?

Any info would be appreciated.

 

I'm not 100% on this but what I've been reading online says the battle maps 4x have 50% increase in bonus box rewards.

I assume it applies to booty boxes too, when i opened one in 4-2 it gave what seemed to be 1.5x in rewards.

Dunno about x5 to x8 tho, haven't tried.

 

Bonus box is different from booty box. Bonus box are the bright yellow cubes you see on all the maps, your PET can collect them. Booty boxes are usually green, but also gold, red, and blue - and also all over the maps, your PET can't collect them. The red and blue booty boxes you must buy or craft in assembly (last I checked) and have different contents.

The standard green booty boxes have the same random rewards regardless of the map you collect it from. I've picked up tones of them from my lowers and uppers, enemy upper and lowers, BL, whatever, the give the same random junk no matter the location you are in when you collect them. Oh, and just my opinion, but save your money re the red and blue ones, always a disappointment for me.

And by random, it is just a list of junk like Apis parts or lf-3 laser that you are "rewarded" when you collect one.

Hope that helps. You will get the same booty box junk in your x-2 and x-3 as you would anwheres else, so fly safe.

 

Thanks, I figured that might be the case. Must have just been my imagination that made me think the green booty boxes were moer valuable on the x-5 and above maps.
