Box Doubler Not Working For Football Bonus Boxes

I would like to know why the Box Doubler does not work for football bonus boxes.

I know this because a lot of the rewards I get from these are ODD AMOUNTS, whereas if the Box Doubler did work, they would all be EVEN AMOUNTS.

 

Footy Boxes are Ultra Rare boxes. Maybe that's why ... ? :/

 

I would guess that there not regular bonus boxes and come out only when told to do so. but im not 100% sure on that.

 

Box doublers only work on the regular boxes, the have never worked on specialy boxes such as pumpkins, flags, turkeys and football boxes.

The odd amounts could be from the use of a PET collecting, and the amount of protocols you have on the PET.

I disagree with this reply ... to an extent.

PET protocols & PP bonuses add first then the whole amount doubles to give an even figure with a box doubler - this is the case for normal bonus boxes.

However, this is not the case with football bonus boxes' so the likely scenario is that the box doubler is not working for the football/soccer boxes.

I have not purchased a box doubler for a long while .. maybe in excess of 3 years. However, I know that they did work on pumpkin boxes at one stage. These were when there were 2 types of pumpkin boxes - one small & one large ... it was most likely on the old client!!

At this time the large pumpkins gave either 625 or 750 urid as a maximum - which was doubled with a box doubler. I know this because I was getting double the urid of other players who did not have box doublers.

Maybe Astraea does not know of this due the fact that it could have been from a time before joining the team.

 

I have been a member of the Moderator Team for 4 year and I am currently the Game Admin.

With that said, I am positive that the Specialty boxes do not work with the Box Doubler. If for some reason they worked on some odd random event in the past, it was probably short lived and removed very quickly once it was realized. As for you image, those were Oversize pumpkins and those had over sized rewards in many of them. As I do remember the event.

The information I provided about the protocols for the PET was to offer the players a bit of advice to help them advance their collecting techniques. Nothing more nothing less.

I was simply pointing out something that had happened before & this was the first time I had bought a box doubler since those boxes were out.

I am sorry if you took that as me being offended...

I just wanted to make sure you were aware that box doubler does not work on those special boxes. But the salvage protocol will help to get more out of the boxes when using a PET and another thought is if you have greed in your bio this will also help increase the regular boxes along with the box doubler.
