can we get info

Can we get info about whats being done to stop this auto lock outbreak its getting really bad? Seems to me that this is getting through your bot protection the same ships use it all the time. why are they not getting caught?

 

PvP maps on Global Europe 7 are full of that auto lockers.. I don't know how they are not banned, but I have seen the same player using it for months and he/she is still around with that thing all the time..

 

All servers have auto lockers on them. They have been a problem for years now not just months. Bot detection works for the players who try and take from bigpoint therefore affecting their uridium sales , however, why try and get rid of auto lockers when they only affect the players and not the company ? Players , admins and devs alike will tell you they dont exist. The players who say they dont are usually the ones who currently use eternal programs. The most thats getting done now is devs covering up cheats on the game such as these super fast golis that can outrun spearheads and vengis .. instead of detecting and banning, they are trying to bring out a speed booster at some point .. the spearhead ultimate cloak can come in a map , lock a player and get away for a while whilst still having a lock but when you see it appears as if it just came in the map with a lock on you therefore hiding an auto locker who has immediate lock on you. Im wondering whats next in line for covering up cheats so there is a made up excuse for how this or how that can happen. Cheats are here to stay unless it immediately affects bigpoints sales. Nothing will ever change unfortunately till the game shuts down for good. Still, all the externals that these players use doesnt make them indestructible. Doesnt keep them alive. Its funny when you kill a user and they say how the hell did you kill me lol. Theyre just players playing a PvP game who cant take being killed and losing once in a while and have no game skill. Enjoy the game with knowing that no matter how many times you die to a cheat, you may still get their kill on the odd occasionand at least have won without lowering yourself to their lack of game skill level and still manage to WIN

 

Great post. But, the thing is that those cheats are being used by UFE's so they can hunt easily. For example, yesterday I was shot down in PvP map when boxing by a vengeance who was FASTER that me (I was running SPEARHEAD, full SPEED GENERATORS and under promerium). I had those rockets that freeze and slow mines. He chased me down 3 minutes, and killed me in the end. How? Well, that's interesting.

• Used freeze rocket on him (he didn't froze me by the way at all). He caught me after 1-2 seconds I have frozen him
• Put slow mine down, he was affected by it but caught me again. (I want to say that I was running in a straight line, not circling or anything else. Just running straight to make my self some time ahead, but I was not able too)
• Till I was doing all of that, he was shooting x4 on me. I repeat, shooting on me while he is frozen by my rocket and I am far ahead.
• As I have finally made some distance and was being able to jump the port, as I came close to it and pressed J to jump, he immediately attacked me again from FAR away. I had recon skill on, I know people can't shoot from that far
• In the end, I let him kill me cause all the time whatever I do he catches me with VENGEANCE

And yes, player was full HAVOC vengeance. I guess I can't win him, can I? If he can catch me all the time when I am flying Spearhead, than I can be flying UFE Goliath too to shoot him, but he will escape if my maths is correct. So, you CAN'T win them back. That's the reality. It is the moment when you say: Ok, let him shot you down, it is not worth spending those mines or anything when in the end he will shoot you down no mater what you do.

PS. Today another vengeance locked me and started attacking me, but that player obviously wasn't using cheats, so I have escaped easily and he didn't chased me anymore.

 

Ok ill tell my story too. I was in battle map battle map cloaked 3 ships came strate for me and all shot as soon as got in range none had time to even search for lock. I had my bro jump in map so i ran to the portal he was going to jump in well i got to portal and popped as soon as i popped they started shooting the portal b4 my bro even got thru he said he was half gone by the time he loaded map i didnt see any ship as i popped but they were shooting

Well seeing this i decided to run a few tests i got in spearhead and jumped in map they came right to me had to cloak and jump. Waited for cool down jumped again same thing as soon as i was in the map they all 3 came running right for me i don't see how this is possible. Once again i cloaked and jumped port tried about 3 more times same outcome i was amazed

 

Lot of guys on USEast 1 are chirping about speed hacks being more common last month or so. Seen it myself. Chasing a player known for it and he pulled away from 2 of us even though we were full speed side ... we both saw it. Chased a guy out of 2-8 we're both golis ... he zipped away like a vengie. Then heard a day later that player was bragging about botting and cheating. Keep seeing other things becoming more common. The nonsense is back peeps. Hope DO will deal decisively with it....ban em all.

 

fellows you can escape all the cheats mentioned above but the worse is when somebody start shooting at you and suddenly you can not use your hot keys .anyway I don*t know who are more pitiful, the ones who use program or the ones that pretend they know nothing about it

 

Something similar happened to me couple of times. When someone shoots me (they always sound to me suspicious when I see them how they lock me or whatever) I am not able to use the mini map. This only happens when some people shoot me, not everyone. It's strange, isn't it?

All I would like to add is developers and the support team is working continuously in order to eliminate the cheats in game and make Darkorbit as clean game for all of you, however this would take time and patience. The developers are doing what it takes to remove the cheats and hence you can see regular update on bots removal in this thread> Removed Bot Users

The use of external programs (whether it be 'bots' or other third-party software) is all dealt with by Support. The scripts are always running to catch players who plays by unfair means and also you can Contact Support to inquire further.
