Changes to Upgrade hour

Well it doesn't do it effectively. In a weeks time or less you can max out everything if you have the uri. A week is hardly any time for free players to catch up.
You know as well as i do this is a pay to win game and so if you have the money you're going to win. This time delay doesn't stop wallet warriors, it stops the free players who try to make the most out of the limited 1 hour they get

 

+30% upgrade during prem and rebate
+25% during upgrade hour
Pay and play = -55% off

thank you for your reply. im not sure i was completely under stood or clear enough. a free player can up grade just as fast as a wallet warrior. if a free player has the uri to upgrade a item from lvl 1 to lvl 16 the time means nothing other then having to wait. to go fro lvl 1 to lvl 16 can be done in about a day. is one day really going to keep the wallet warrior from advancing to the top faster than a free player? no. the free player having to earn the uri will take days to gain the uri for upgrades and then they have to wait for the upgrades after that, that's not right, seem to me its the free player that are getting the raw end of the deal here.

not sure of the exact time but an estimated time for lvl 1 to lvl 2 upgrade is about 2 mins. not sure how much more wallet warrior can advance in the game above a free player in this time but its not enough to merit a mention. a lvl 15 to lvl 16 is around an hour or so as an estimate, but lets just say its 2 or even 3 hours for the conversation there's no benefit or down fall in time for either type of player seems how they both have to wait the same amount of time. at lvl 15 the wallet warrior inst going to advance faster the a free player that are both leveling up at the same time. if a free player were to save their uri and use it on upgrades would having the time delay keep the gap/quicker advancement between the free player and the wallet warrior. my answer is no.

a player spends time acquiring uri through whatever means necessary. why are we spending time waiting on upgrades? i don't see how the time benefits the player or dark orbit other than having a visual affect. it is a given that a wallet warrior will advance faster than a free player and most of us would agree on that. the issue is, whats the point of waiting for upgrades when the effects they produce are permanent and do not diminish unlike the sky lab and tech center where resources are expendable or used to acquire credits to use in auction.

lets not forget the added savings if you by uri during mmh. not sure what that translates into savings but it all adds up

 

Yes - MHH is the best time to get uri.

If you want to upgrade all day then get prem and rebate ...use 30% less uri to get your stuff. If you wait for that magical hour you spend half of what you would have before aka instead of buying for $1.00 it cost you .45 cents instead. Using the all day method is .70 cents. Get it?

 

Hmm, good point, gotcha now...

 

Someone mentioned it's every week.. I'm certain they didn't have upgrade hour last week. Someone mentioned it is every two weeks... I don't even know what to say. It's as secretive as how BP secretly reduced ACM mine count to 10 from the original 50 without prior notice or even yet..

yep i noticed that straight away when i won the acm mines on the new trade, bigpoint are doing the bare minimum to keep us happy

 

I agree with this idea that there should be more upgrade hours and more efficient upgrade times.

 

Every page brings the newsflash of MHH (when it comes on), even in game we get a large notification. Upgrade hour is so secretive, if I mention it in chat, I get countless people asking me about it. It needs to change.

 

Yep, that was one of my points at the start (if not later in the thread) its ridiculous how advertised money making events are compared to the beneficial ones for us players

 

Just log in the backpage Homepage every after hour from 6 pm to 8 pm your server time and see if a special pops up everyday to find the secret whatnots advertised.

 

They should at least publicise the event.

 

i agree is i kne when upgrade hour was i would buy uri to upgrade and it isnt even told about on battle page where everyone is 90% of the time most the time soneone randomly look aat back page and with 30 minsleft sometimes everyone realizes it is upgrae hour

Problem comes that i never NOTICE ingame that the upgrade hour has came, and it is pretty rare to find such a event on these hours.

Also the point of waiting..... it makes annoying the part of getting the upgrades when the item wants to be upgraded, the higher is the level of it, the longer it takes... and that precious time its lost

 

I'm not going to buy uri with the game in this shape. I know many more are like me. I don't gamble if each gate gave the prize for sure I might buy. My luck isn't good in any area why would it be in a game.
