Chat and minimap

    Every time I login it takes around 5 minutes for my chat and mini map to load. Even then sometimes the chat doesn't come up. It also happens when I jump gates. I would like to know if this is just happening to me, or if other payers are experiencing this issue and what can help fix it. Thanks!

    I read about other players having this problem. A quick way to fix the mini map problem is by clicking on it, and apparently it then displays a couple of seconds later. I'm not sure if this is a 100% fix every time, but that's what I've been reading.

    I tried that and it works only half the time. Now when I jump gates it doesn't show anything on map not even my ship and I have to log out and log back in. It's getting really frustrating.

    It seems fixed now but I don't know if it will act up again

    If chat dont show up its a flash issue you need to clean old flash data at flash player site. delete the chat server data. Here is a link to the flash player control panel. This is not a screen shot this is real panel!!

    Another way to get here is right click game map -select global settings-select Website Storage Settings panel -and select delete all sites

    Well actually now it seems like my server is experiencing the same problems that GB1 had around a month ago or so. I will randomly disconnect and I will have 60 fps and then when I reconnect only my ships shows up on the map. Nothing else.

    This sounds like a connection error. Once you lag out it will show 60fps. By any chance are you using wifi. If so you need to log into modem and change channel to a clearer channel then reconnect to modem. Most wifi modems are set to channel 6 which just about everything wireless runs on change to 11 or 1.
