Chat Broken - Day 3 - How about an update - 4/26/15

No one is saying that the job is easy.I think the problem for the anger comes from support people that inflame the situation by their arrogant, rude, demeaning remarks they make when you ask about a problem and blaming us the players for being stupid and not knowing how the game works. They seem to forget that a lot of people who ask are also paying customers and many spend a lot of money monthly so the frustration from arrogant remarks from employees is understandable. When your cable goes out the company understands and keeps you posted on whats going on. Dark Orbit can learn from that. The silence makes for hot tempers from people who pay their salaries.

 

Why are some of you saying you're programmers and coders when you can't even spell correctly.

 

I strongly disagree with your statement.

They shouldnt have no staff on a weekend, the game is still online so customers are going to play. People dont work on a weekend? Ofcourse they do, and if BP are offering services and still trying to get us to buy their products over the weekend (MHH) then they SHOULD have staff on at a weekend. Not a good way to run this game, and it clearly shows.

 

Do you know that the MHH offer is not launched manually by some developer? It's a process, background process, that launches on the dates and hours that DO gave it. So, I will have to disagree again.

By the way, chat is not a critical error in the game that needs to be fixed asap, for sure. If it was more serious problem, I am sure they would fix it on the weekend.

PS. To be clear, I am NOT stating that the MHH is really a background process in this case. I am just saying that it is a usual thing how it is done.

Well if chat isn't gonna work anytime soon does that mean our chat moderators are out of a job lol. maybe they all went on vacation at the same time and just closed chat down

 

Is it just me, but so many ppl claim to be programmers but waste there time playing a broken game. Yes I dabble in programming but not of this nature. And im sure none of you do. If so you would not be here crying over a fix. [removed]

 

You can fix chat yourself. You need to draw a pentagram on the floor, sacrifice a white goat to satan and devote your eternal soul to Rik Dekard. Worked for me.....

As of this time chat should be working again. Thank you all for your patience while this issue was being looked into and resolved.

Does the OP have anything further?

 

I do, after using chat last night, I wake up to no chat on the 4 US servers. It works fine for my clan mate but I have a blank chat box. My 2 overseas servers are fine though. That's worse than what it was before with the chat server rebooting, over and over again.

 

mine works fine at the moment on GA1

 

And all for US servers are now working for me. Not holding breath...
