Chat "lag" and freezing issue

  1. I have been having this issue for a couple of days now, and have tried to remedy it by clearing flash cache and clearing all my cookies. Have seen CM-Vaporizer and BA Cold Steel in our chat and have brought this to their attention and they suggested the above ideas to remedy it.

    Do you have auction page open on the back page when this is happening by any chance? If you do then close auction page as since a not-so-recent update has caused this page to cause browser lag.

This game is just a lag fest, a lot of people are complaining about it, DO claims it is our computers, and we need to clear cache and switch browers, and make sure everything is up to date, then when we tell them we already did all that they basically tell you "your computer sucks, we have no issues" LOL yeah ok.
     
  5. Close your chat box - the chat box cause lag cuz of all those msgs pile up - so just relog and you are fine.
     
  6. Yellow, I have done that as well and it even occurs after 5 messages in an empty chat box. All the options presented by other players have been done. I would like an answer from a mod or support member please.

    As we can understand your frustration with the lag situation. please know that many players experience lag issues and game screen issues when the Server has special events going on when things are newly added to the game. Due to the added graphics and the large quantity of players wanting to experience the new additions.

    Below is a variety of reasons as to why you could be. experiencing these issues.

    1. Web Browser is not up to date
    2. Flash and java not up to date - or missing plug ins
    3. Cache needs to be empty
    4. Browser history may need to be cleared.
    5. Distance from server
    6. Computer graphic overload. (Graphics card slow or not enough Ram).
    7. Internet type - Wifi, DSL, cable broadband or phone connection.
    8. Programs Running in the Background

    9. Browser choice, if using Chrome have you disabled the pepper flash?
    10. Flash storage data: Have you cleared that...

    11 . Possible server problem.

    These are all things that could be causing the issue, these are just suggestions as to what the issue might be to help you resolve the current problem.

  8. Okay, as there hasn't been a response in 2 days now, i am going to add this.

    I have started to go to settings and restart chat repeatedly and have had to do this almost every 10 minutes. Something needs to be done as this is a new issue and I am not the only one. I have tried multiple browsers, cleared all available caches, and cleared histories.

    And just now, it lagged so bad that when i changed tabs it went to restart and failed. Can we get someone to take this seriously? There are now multiple threads in this Technical Issues forum with the same problem.

    Really would like a new idea to fix this.
