    what is the purpose of a clan battle station and its benefits

    First off, PvP, something that can be very rare on some servers nowadays ^^

    You can also stick boosters on them, damage, EP and Honour. The EP and Honour give you a boost (up to 10%) across all maps and even effect things such as gate rewards. The damage boost (also goes up to 10%) only effects you when you are in the same map as your clans battle station. Booster modules must be lv16 to get the full 10% bonus.

    It also acts as protection, stick one in x-6 map and you have somewhere to run to if you are being attacked whilst cubing. Stick one in a battlemap and you have somewhere to go and change configs without logging off. CBS do not give dmz however, so you can still die right on top of your own cbs.

    On top of what Okapi32 said, it has the dimension of strong clans trying to dominate multiple maps and having to defend them and also take over new maps. An extension of PVP but adds something for clans to do at the clan level. Fun to destroy a CBS.
