connection lost ?

again and again a lot problem in darkorbit, today i can't enter game, like normally, i click start button in client page to enter game, establishing connection bla bla bla, and then connection lost, the connection was interrupted bla bla bla, i click new connection (waiting) and then connection lost bla bla bla, try again and again but nothing, i choose to logout, checking my internet connection but there is normal, i log back in to game and facing that problem again, sorry i'm not an english talking person

 

Try getting a VPN. Most likely, it is not the darkorbit server. Since the game uses alot of data, your ISP is probably throttling your internet so they are slowing your service down when you play or try to play.

A VPN will solve this. Trust me. When I don't use a VPN, I have the same issues as everyone else. Big lag spikes, never ending loading, never ending Establish connection, ETC. As soon as I connect to my VPN, I am playing without problems.

 

come on - a VPN ? There are 13 yr olds and above playing this game., don't see miniclip asking you to add a vpn. I hope you dont work for DO. cos thats crap advise.

 

Did you even try it? lol this advise I have given to my entire clan and every person who complained about lag and connection on my server and they don't complain now at all. Don't judge till you try it.

All you have to do is Google up VPN and find a way to install the driver.

Don't get mad at me that most people who play this game, their ISP channel their data to save the company money. I know my ISP does that. Which is why I am using a VPN to prevent that.



And obviously I don't work for Bigpoint since I do not have a Staff USERGROUP Title.

Darkorbit uses about 25 gb of data in 2 days if you play 4 hours a day. Since many people use ISPs with unlimited data usage, the company needs to find ways to make it seem like your paying for high speed internet but in reality, they are limiting that high speed for certain sites and games. Just so they can save alot of money.

Which is why some people who use youtube all the time notice that they buffer alot when they play videos or when they play WoW that the game lags even though they are using a perfect computer.

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) WILL fix almost every person's lag problem when it comes to connections.

 

Support has been made aware of this issue and is currently looking into getting this sorted out for all players.
